Amazon EssentialsMen's Straight-Fit 5-Pocket Comfort Stretch Chino Pant (Previously Goodthreads)

I saw a few negative reviews of these pants. I disagree. They are well made, comfortable, have already been washed and dried several times, and come in impressive size and inseam ranges. I just ordered three more colors. No, there aren't any metal tacks or a metal post button. That would make them colored jeans. A little stretch for comfort. Material feels like twill from the 1990's. Just watch which fit you are ordering. These appear multiple times on an Amazon search but each one is a different cut.

The legs fit a bit more skinny than I expected from a straight fit style, but fortunately I'm not terribly picky. They fit well and are comfortable otherwise. The material and quality seems quite good for the price!

I bought these for my son and they fit as expected and the color quality of pants are great. After two washes already they have stayed true to the look, fit, and color (black) since when I first purchased .them.

It is a complete fail to have a sewn on plastic button and no pocket metal tacks. Durability will not work. Before you know it the button will fall off and I will be having to sew it on. Frustrating. The Amazon Essentials 5 Pocket has these two important features for a 5 pocket similar to jeans which will be very durable but unfortunately Amazon seems to want to charge $4 more for Good Threads and not build them in a durable way. On top of that it appears Amazon is phasing out the Essential 5 pocket. Makes no sense.

I'm really happy with the quality of this pants and how comfortable they are. Love that they are not skinny and they are stretch material that is great for any type of movement and working in the food services department is more comfortable having this type of pants.The pockets are not small and the size runs perfectly as expected. Highly recommend.

Nice pair of pants, somewhere on the casual scale between jeans and chinos. Fit is comfortable, maybe a bit baggy for some.

I had just about despaired of being able to get comfortable real cotton khakis any more, everything the past couple of years has gone synthetic but still falsely labeled as cotton.But these are real cotton khakis like I used to get! The only drawback is they are a little low-waisted and short in the crotch for me; I would be more comfortable with a little more room.But beware, a pair of Goodthreads "Athletic fit Performance" ones I just got are NOT 98% cotton, they are 48% nylon although honestly labeled as such.

Not anywhere worth the money! Look elsewhere...name brands are about the same price. These pants fit horrible...way too small and pockets do not lay flat. Material feels awful...it's like wearing a sponge. Spandex has to go...

Bought two pairs of these chinos. Not particularly cheap. Initially fit well at the waist but after an hours wear come down, they are 3% elastane which although feels nice makes them become baggy and loose quickly. Also one pair is much narrower ie not a straight leg fit than the other. Definitely not smart look kind of chinos.

The trousers seem OK but the waist is about 5" larger than the size label says, so I can't wear them with any degree of security!I offered to return them for a refund but the supplier said not to bother.

Great trousers. Fit is perfect and they look great. I ordered 5 different colours and wondered how they may turn out but was hugely surprised that the colours were all accurate and they fitted better than expected. Once worn and used over a few months I will get a better idea but so far no issues

Good quality, nice fit. If you're looking for chinos these are the ones to buy, will be buying more as time goes on.

They look great and feel good on, my only issue is the legs are slightly tighter than am normally used to (though I do have big legs)
