The stainless-steel construction feels sturdy and durable, and they fit perfectly in my kitchen sink. Funny to be excited by such a product. 😆 Still, everyday as I work in my kitchen I'm so happy I found these particular strainers. I kept looking for a set of 2 that had the stopper included, but finding a size that fit my sink drains (in a double/divided sink) was not so easy since they are about a 1/4" smaller than typical drains. Finally I settled for these -- a MUCH better decision. Why? Well, I found that having the stoppers was NOT necessary. I don't need to fill my sinks for any reason, and if I did, I have small tubs to serve that purpose. These fit flat and are much better than my previous strainers. With those I had to keep them sitting at an angle because they inhibited the water flow since the stoppers didn't work properly. Because of that they let too much debris go down the drain. I got sick of dealing with that and these new strainers eliminates that problem. They are also sturdy, and neat and clean looking. Now I don't have to be concerned about things slipping down the drain. Water drains well and I can better control drains getting clogged with debris that slips through the old strainers since they had holes that were too big and stoppers that didn't work correctly. I can just pick up these strainers and clear the debris into the garbage. (I don't have a garbage disposal.) Hopes this helps others understand the value a such a small, helpful product!

This strainer is just great! It really helps catch so much food from going down into the garbage disposal. It is very easy to use—just place it in the drain. It also stays in place and does not move around. I have been using this for months now, and it is still shiny. It does show some signs of use, but not nearly as much as other cheap strainers I have used. I honestly wish I had bought this years ago, but now that I have it, I don't know how I did without it. It makes cleaning the sink so much easier. Since it is made out of stainless steel, I expect it to last a long time and hopefully not rust. I know stainless steel can still rust if it is exposed to certain chemicals, so I try to stay away from using those types of chemicals when cleaning it. Overall, I am very happy with this strainer. It makes cleaning the sink easier, stays in place, and looks good even after months of use. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to make cleaning the sink a little easier.

As silly as it sounds, it is not that easy to find a good quality stainless steel sink strainer that works well and is easy to clean. I’ve had numerous ones over the years - some from well known brands, some from big box stores and some from dollar stores. This strainer beats every single one that I have tried in the last 10 years. It looks good in the sink, captures every small bitty (the picture is from seasonings from brining corned beef), is easy to dump and easier to clean. The price is incredible - and you get 2 of them! I would purchase again in a heart beat, and highly recommend this!

they are thin and light weight. Not a big deal. They did an excellent job, until... I live alone, so I have an apartment size washing machine that connects to the kitchen sink, since I don't need a full size washer. The holes fill up easily with lint from the washer, and filled the sink almost to overflowing. I don't want to sit and babysit the automatic washer, so I'm getting a couple of the wire mesh type that didn't do this. Until this happened I was perfectly happy with them. They covered the entire drain and fit so well they looked like they were part of the sink. They sealed very well and didn't let things get past the curved lip. They trapped whatever came off the dishes and pots and pans perfectly. This would have been a 5 star item except for this one issue. I'm very sorry they had this one issue.

these strainers are one of those little purchases that you just make without thinking too hard about it. But once they arrived I found out what great quality they are. I have purchased different brands that were so poorly made that they fell apart or food got stuck in them and It was so gross trying to clean them but not these. These strainers are very thick and strong and dont rust and it isn't a screen like material that easily falls apart and rips...it's a very solid metal strainer. They don.t mold or smell and I just stick them in the dishwasher every week to make sure they get a good cleaning but for the most part just wipe them out and rinse. These are so affordable and I dont see myself having to replace them for a long time. Great purchase, highly recommend.

Fit my sink perfectly, stops a lot of small debris that most don’t even see so these worked out perfect for me.

I bought these in 2020 and I’ve been using them since. They are still in pretty good condition and catch everything. I definitely like these better than the mesh ones.

It drains well but catches well.

Nice product and well built using stainless steel and has smaller drain holes than my original sink strainers that supplied with the kitchen sink. More waste/garbage are now collected.

I have been using this product since last 2 year, and it has been working great. No complaints. Just an amazing product. I recommend it to everyone who wants a product that helps keep your house pipes clean. It has no rust or any kind of damage to it, been using it constantly since I bought it. Because I no longer live in the land of lifted trucks, country music, guns, and garbage disposals, these little sink strainers have become essential! No matter how careful you are, if you’re using the original sink strainers that came with the house, food particles (especially onions!) will end up going down the drain. Then they collect at the bottom of the draining system, become self aware, and amass into a terrifying food monster. And this food monster’s only goal in life is to back up your drains, wreak havoc, and ruin your life. And what’s worse, if your boiler’s condensate pipe drains into your sink’s draining system, it will block that up too, and your boiler will end up with an error. Goodbye heat and hot water. Food monster 1; you 0. But instead of that, you could buy these sweet babies. They fit perfectly into the standard UK drain. Sure, sometimes they get packed up with food and slow down draining, but you should probably empty it out before that ever happens. Do you actually want a food monster to form on top of your sink? That’s a dangerous game. What’s wrong with you? Have you learned nothing? But this item does a great job of keeping that pesky food away from the drains! Buy now! We will win this war!
