## Description

Carrot Tissue oil is made by infusing the flesh of whole carrots in Sweet Almond oil, making it extremely rich in Beta Carotene, Vitamins A, B, C, D and E and essential fatty acids. Carrot oil is not the same product as Carrot Seed oil. Excellent for sun damaged skin, due to its high content of Beta Carotene. It is also beneficial for dry skin, ageing or wrinkled skin, is known to help skin regeneration and to moisturise. Carrot oil also makes a great deep conditioner for dry hair. It can also be used to soothe burns. Carrot oil will stain easily so be sure to massage the oil into the skin thoroughly to avoid this. Packaged in glass bottle to protect the contents from heat, light, oxidation and moisture. PRESSED FROM FRESH Our oils are pressed from this season’s fresh harvest of seeds, nuts and kernels, to retain quality potency and efficacy. Caution: care should be taken when used externally as the oil can easily stain fabric. DIRECTIONS Carrot oil is for external use only. It can be massaged into both the skin and hair. More information about carrot oil for face and top carrot tip Caution: Store in a cool dark place, oil should be used within 6 months once it has been opened. Oil will stain fabric, be sure to use this in small amounts and making sure it is fully absorbed into the skin.

**Q: Has anyone used it as a sunscreen?**
A: But this is not a sunscreen, nor substitute for a sunscreen. This product is great for dry skin, but sun protection? I don’t think so.

**Q: Does it leave that nice carrot color glow and some tint ?**
A: There is a definite tint to the skin - a carrot orange that to me is a slight drawback because I have a very light skin tone.  However, it is not overwhelming and I put it on at night.  So, if you like the "carrot color glow," you will notice it when you use the product.

**Q: Does the carrot oil (made from the flesh) have the same or similar SPF properties as the carrot seed oil does? Are they interchangable in recepies?**
A: Yes, it does. We use it as sun screen when we go to the beach.

A: 38-40
