Revlon Microdermabrasion Wand, Red, 1 Count

I love this little tool. It feels a little pinchy (not the right term but can’t think of how to describe it) kind of like a fine file. It’s very different. The head is metal which I hope won’t rust because I wanted this for my shower. What I like about this is that you can just use any normal facial cleanser and still get some exfoliation. It’s great for a quick exfoliation or if you have some dry flaky skin in one area. Today I used it for the first time on my whole face and also did my lips. My face and lips do feel soft and smooth. I was a bit gentle with it but didn’t end up with any redness or soreness. I believe you’re going to be able to exfoliate a little or a lot with this depending on the pressure and amount of time you use it. I’ve only used it once so far but I think it’s a really neat tool to have on hand. I will still buy the exfoliators I use regularly but I bet this would work just on its own if used regularly to keep your skin soft and smooth.

Good product! Be careful to use short strokes snd do not go over the same area repeatedly. It can result in red skin.

I’m usually not the type to leave a review but wow! I haven’t seen my skin this smooth and not flaky like this in years! Smooth as a baby’s bottom lol. However it does leave my face a bit irritated as far as burning afterwards so please be gentle! Follow the instructions !!!

This is exactly what I was looking for. I exfoliate my face every other day and I control how much pressure I apply. I do not spend money on “special oils,” I use Ponds makeup remover first and while my face is clean I moisturize again with the makeup remover to use the wand. Then I use cotton rounds and miicellar water to remove the excess makeup remover cream and I love seeing the dead skin on the cotton round. You will need a tiny brush (like a toothbrush or the ones for nails) to wash and remove residues from the wand. Skin will be trapped in it. I have been using it for roughly a month and I am particularly happy that the places where I usually get ingrown hairs I don’t have any. My skin has greatly improved. You DO need to be consistent for anything to work.

The product came ontime per prime. However for me personally it doesn’t give me the intended effect i was expecting. Seems a bit too soft for my taste.

Easy to use and feels well made. Great quality for the price, and I’m happy with the results.

If you think that you will be replacing the missing Neutrogena Dermabrasion Device with this, you will be very disappointed with this trinket. It is kind of pretty though.

This works at removing top dry skin on fingers, feet and toes. HOORAY!!!!

Really gentle, I don't know if its helping or not, but as I cant use other face scrubs this was a good alternative. I have very very delicate skin and this doesn't mark it or make it sore. I find if you use small circular motions with water only on it, it seems to do a good job for me!!!

Great item, much better for the environment than loose crystals. Don't need to buy exfoliating creams or cleaners anymore!

Seit meiner Chemotherapie habe ich eine echt dicke Gesichtshaut. Erinnert mich beim anfassen an Leder. Was hab ich Unmenge an Geld für Cremes und Peelings ausgegeben. Eine Kosmetikerin ist mir einfach zu teuer wenn ich nicht weiß ob es was bringt. Also spielte ich mit dem Gedanken mit ein Microdermabrasionsgerät zu kaufen. Dann entdeckte ich per Zufall die "Bürste" von Revlon - und was soll ich sagen? Ich bin echt begeistert. Endlich mal etwas beidem ich SEHE daß es funktioniert. Bürste kurz unters Wasser gehalten und losgeschrubbt. Juhu!! Ich sehe wie sich Hautschichten ablösen. Kleine Würstchen kann man erkennen. Super, jetzt besteht die Möglichkeit daß die Haut mal Pflegeprodukte aufnimmt. Ich freu mich! Bei meiner Haut traten keine großartigen Reizungen auf. Sieht aus als wär ich in der Sonne gewesen. Aber das ist ok.. ich muss heute nirgendwo mehr hin, Pflegemaske und Creme drauf und gut ist. Ich werde das jetzt alle 2 Tage machen, dann müsste ich mich in 3-4 Wochen wieder gut fühlen. Von mir erstmal klares DAUMEN HOCH. Würde ich nochmal kaufen und klar weiterempfehlen. TOP!! Sollte sich was ändern ergänze ich die Bewertung.

Great product! Helps aloe vera & shea butter soak in skin better. Creates smooth skin after feel for make-up application. Make sure to moisturize well after microdermabrasion!!! I use Aloderma 99% Organic Aloe Vera Gel for Face & shea butter with a bit of vaseline. I never use glycerin, as it pulls moisture from the innermost layers of skin, creating an illusion that it is moisturizing. I googled glycerin, & after I saw this, it made sense why my skin burned when I used glycerin after a microdermabrasion: Glycerin can dry out skin, but only under specific conditions: when used in high concentrations (above 20-30%) or in very dry, low-humidity environments, as it pulls moisture from deeper skin layers or the air; but in typical skincare products, it's a great humectant that draws moisture to the skin when paired with occlusives or in humid conditions, preventing dryness when used correctly. When Glycerin Can Cause Dryness -Low Humidity: In arid climates, glycerin pulls water from the deeper dermis (skin) to the surface, dehydrating the skin if there isn't enough moisture in the air or a sealant on top. -High Concentrations: Pure or highly concentrated glycerin (over 30%) can be irritating and drying; it's meant to be diluted in products. How to Use Glycerin for Hydration -Look for Formulated Products: Choose moisturizers where glycerin is an ingredient, not the primary one, combined with emollients and occlusives (like oils or butters) to lock in moisture. -Apply to Damp Skin: Use glycerin products after showering or applying a hydrating toner when skin is still damp to help it attract water from the environment. -Seal it In: Always layer a cream or ointment over glycerin-based products to prevent water from evaporating away. In Summary Glycerin is generally beneficial and safe, acting as a moisture magnet. The key is using it in well-formulated products and ensuring you're in a humid enough environment or sealing it with other ingredients to prevent it from pulling moisture out of your skin. So, for me, using glycerin after a microdermabrasion can be quite painful creating even dryer skin.
