I was hoping this would be the answer to my mosquito problem but it only trapped 2 or 3 during the day. It does catch more at night but not nearly enough to control the number of mosquitoes we have.

I wanted to get at least 1 full mosquito season under my belt before reviewing this product. I setup the device in multiple locations under multiple conditions, near a large tub of water, with a light bulb in front of the fan, night and day, on the grass, in the garage, etc etc. The device is very effective at trapping gnats by the 1000s. Without some form of attractant, the only mosquito that gets sucked into the net are those that just happen to be flying by. The tub of water helped as did the light, therefore I would suggest the designer of this device needs to devise a means of ATTRACTING mosquitoes to the device, or the effectiveness will be minimal.

It actually worked really well, I did not think it would, it was the best of all other mosquito repellent. :)

too small . it didn't work

I haven't seen the results I expected. A few gnats but really no mosquitos.

I was concerned about spraying the kids with mosquito repellent every time we went outside. I have tried citronella, the all natural sprays, the mosquito repellent bands, the clip on devices and Avon's Skin So Soft. I was thrilled when I discovered this product! I attached the bug ring to a fan I have on the back porch and while I'm not exactly sure about the science behind it, I have to say it works better than any of the spray on products, citronella or clip on devices I wasted my money on in the past and the best thing is I no longer have to worry about putting chemicals on the kids. The set up is simple. It took me all of 10 minutes to put it together. The ring attaches to the fan and draws the bugs into the net and voila! No more mosquitoes!

Doesn't work well at all.

We had lots of fruit flies around our fruit bowl, and lots of mosquitoes slipping in through the dog door. I had my doubts that this thing would work, but it actually does. This is a super way to passively control bugs that get in the house. And no chemicals!
