Works good. The only negative thing I have to say is that the female end is very bulky and did not fit inside the housing of what I was plugging it into. After a little work on my end, I was able to make it work.

Does what it's supposed to do.
I needed to be able to plug my 3.3kW EV charger, which has a NEMA 6-20P (240VAC, 20A) plug, into a standard 120V (NEMA 5-15R or 5-20R) outlet, at times when I don't have access to my 240V outlet. Fortunately my EVSE is compatible with both 120V and 240V, so this inexpensive adapter did the trick. Of course pulling the same current at half the voltage means it's only about 1.6kW, but that beats the 0kW I'd have otherwise WARNING! This adapter does NOT convert voltage! If you use it to connect a 240-only device to a 120V outlet you may damage it or burn it out. If you use it to connect a 120-only device to a 240V outlet you may see some fireworks! All this cord does is enable you to make the PHYSICAL connection. You still need to take responsibility understand the voltage service you're connecting it to and ensure that the device you're connecting is compatible.

Worked perfect for me. I use it for a small welder in my garage instead of changing sockets to 20A plugs I can use this anywhere but just keep my welding times short to not over heat anything
