Poly casters can be a mixed bag if you're not careful. It's good to get the type which is a hard poly for life longevity and ones which have a good radius curve to allow better turning and pivoting. Most often you'll find that high quality wheels with brakes will cost at least 10-20 dollars per wheel so I'm always looking for deals where you can buy 4 to 8 wheels for under $50 or a set of 4 for $25 or less. I have these four mounted on a 14 gauge 2" steel tube worktable which has a 2" solid maple top (table is about 65" wide x 30" deep x 38" with wheels mounted) and the table moves around very nicely when I need it to. So far, they've worked great. And I also say this with experience as I've built probably 30 or more work tables and tool carts over the last 2 decades for my workshop. I do however use larger wheels on heavy equipment and my old cast iron tool collection. Cheers.

The casters are fantastic. They were easy to install and so far, they work flawlessly. My only suggestion is drop the price by $ 0.05 and eliminate the wrench. It is virtually worthless, and anyone who is ordering a caster set probably has a set of wrenches they can use.

These were great for the application I bought them for which was my very heavy cast iron top woodworking Jointer which was impossible to move by myself before.The hardware and packaging: Smooth feel to the roll of the wheel bearings and swivel. The lock washers were a bit thin but the the threads were exactly the length advertised and were very smooth without any burrs or rough spots.The installation: The install was a bit of a challenge since the fixed hex-nut was only approximately 1/8” thick and impossible to apply an open end wrench to the hex and tighten it down. The wrench included did was too loose and bent immediately with any tension applied. This is the only flaw I can find with the product and the reason for the 1 less star.My suggestion would be to buy a slightly longer thread to make room for an additional nut to be added above the fixed hex to allow for any height adjustments or leveling.

It's true the cheesy wrench is a joke & won't even work to tighten one bolt. But that's not the point as I have tools. My application of these 2" wheels was on two portable air compressors that are now MUCH more portable than before. The 2" wheels work perfectly & swivel easily & solidly. The wheel locks hold well when the compressor motor is running. The compressors weigh no more than 40 lbs each & I installed 4 wheels on each of the two compressors. So that works out to approximately 10 lbs of weight on each castor. That isn't much weight @ all & for my application the castors work perfectly & easily handle that weight. I expect them to work well & hold up for many years. I can't speculate on how much more actual weight the castors would be capable of carrying, but they certainly are working well for me.

I purchased a wheeled vase stand that was supposed to handle 450 pounds. A wheel collapsed and returned it and ordered these wheels and built one myself. Easy to install, extremely well made and carries the heavy vase easily.

My husband bought these for a very large and very heavy air compressor for our garage to make it more mobile and the locking mechanism works great. The casters roll with ease. We were able to roll this very large, very heavy air compressor into a trailer with just the two of us.

The wheels are very good and sturdy. However, the wrentch they provide to secure the wheels to whatever platform you choose is absolutely horrible. The bolt and nut provided are 1/2" and very strong, the wrentch is basically tinfoil. Every turn of the nut strips the wrentch and bends it making it useless. It is also very short which provides no leverage to tighten down the nuts. No reason why they couldn't make the wrentch a bit thicker and longer to keep its shape.The wheels are a 5 star rating, but the wrentch is only a 1 star rating.

Las estoy usando en mi escritorio y en el mueble de mi computadora, son muy firmes y se sientes suaves al momento de deslizar los muebles, el freno no requiere mucha fuerza para aplicarlo y queda firme en su posición, no sé bota, los rodamientos vienen bien lubricados, las ruedas son de excalente calidad, muy estéticas, soportan cargas pesadas y eso las hace perfectas para durar mucho más tiempo.
