This was an awesome Mod to make when upgrading the exhaust system. It's amazing what twice the thickness of this crucial link between chassis members can make increasing rigidity and dampening flex. I haven't driven it enough to judge if there's really a marked difference in temperature transfer through the center console, but when I do I'll update this review.

This piece of equipment should be an absolute must for any C5/C6 Corvette. I was truly amazed of how much more it decreased the temperature in the console area. We recently had temperatures in the 90 degree area and it was Great not feeling the excess heat from the console.I have to give this piece of equipment 5+ in my rating. It’s worth every dollar!! There are some imitators that send pieces to use on your OE tunnel plate Don’t Waste your Money !!! Get this one. I’ll Guarantee you will be satisfied ! It also has helped with chassis flex.I’m completely Satisfied with this product !!

Immediately noticed the squeaks and creeks went away and much less body roll. Well worth the money!

This plate is an absolute MUST!!! Drastically dropped interior temps! Helps AC feel like its 20degrees colder. Nomore extreme console heat. ANDDD the car feels soooo much better. Tightened up entire vehicle feel, body roll, cornering, creaks, noises. Just everything about this plate is freaking awesome!!A true MUST HAVE!!
