The quality is chef’s kiss 🔥 The sundial itself is solid and beautifully made, and the box it comes in? Absolutely stunning. Feels like something Jack Sparrow would keep in his coat pocket.I couldn’t figure out how to actually make it work (sun angles? science? magic?) but my husband figured it out in five seconds. This is a well-crafted time piece that is well packaged and designed to be a display piece. Perfect for display and as a conversation piece. It's easy to set up and looks elegant and intriguing. I have it on my "Science Table" in my eyecare office which is primarily dedicated to pediatric patients to explore, experiment, and forget that they are in a doctor's office. This sundial compass, coupled with the leather case (the case makes this look like a work of art BTW), is a popular curiosity with the kids. I love taking it outdoors to show them how it works. Because it's such a unique, functional gift, and I'm supporting a small business, I plan to purchase a few more for colleagues.

I really liked this item and purchased it for my partner for xmas. The item was good, but the packaging/cover left a bit to be desired.Ultimately, for me it was definitely worth buying!

We are a family of surfers, and watermen...we live within a few minutes of the Gulf & so obviously we love nautical items...I've redecorated my mantel & have added this to other items to compliment a scrolled 3D wooden map of our Gulf and the area we live in the Panhandle...it is perfect size for the mantel & I've sat it ontop of the leather box it arrived in...it is built nice, & quite heavy for being so small...it was easy to set up..I have not checked the functionality or accuracy yet but it is really nice...I am not disappointed in my purchase & would buy again

This truly is worth the money.We bought this for our pirate obsessed daughter for her eighth birthday. To say she loves it is an understatement.It is a great weight and size that she takes it most anywhere. There isn't anything cheap about this, so much better than the plastic toy ones. This metal compass is so durable and can hold its own on adventures.My daughter is now learning how to use all the parts of it.A great keepsake gift that a child can use, not just look at on a shelf.

I always wanted a working sun dial, and now I have one…. This is a cool working sundial, it’s well made, very pretty, and has detailed instructions on how to properly use itIt looks amazing in the curio cabinet and I love actually playing with it and seeing how accurate it is, but I think I need a bit more practice using it lol

Well boxed and protected in shipment. The compass is sturdy and has a nice leather case. The device can sit on a desk, dashboard or wherever and does not move accidently. Great gift.
