I really love this necklace. I love how dainty the initial is. I love the length of the chain. I love how simple it is. I feel like it can be dressed up or down. What I don’t love is the false advertising. I purchased this because it says that it’s stainless steel. When it arrived, the clasp area has K 18 stamped on it, which means it’s gold plated. I only purchase solid gold or stainless steel or titanium because I have allergies to nickel. K 18 gold plating is only 75% gold and the rest is made up of alloys. Often times nickel. Time will tell if I have a reaction to this, but it’s very disappointing that the seller did not specify that it was gold plating over stainless steel. I would not have bought it if I knew that.

This was a very cute dainty stainless steel letter m initial on a stainless steel chain. It can be worn by a child or an adult that enjoys dainty jewelry. I was able to wear for several months before the chain itself broke. I still have the small initial and will just put that onto a new chain once it is purchased. I would say it's your 50/50 call on whether to purchase. What I liked best was the initials small size as well as it it stainless steel, so it looks like sterling, no worry for tarnishing with stainless steel. Only concern was the breaking of the chain as I did nothing strenuous to cause breakage.
