This glue is exactly what our pediatric endocrinologist said it would be. You get more for less money than the single use tubes… but it is harder to apply. We found unscrewing the top and dipping regular Q-tips made cleanup easier. Otherwise you end up with a lid that’s glue shot. No skin irritation or bad smell.

3 years I’ve had an ostomy and struggled with my appliance not sticking. Started using this about 6 months ago and I have not had one single leak or sticking issue. It is hospital grade (my surgeon first gave me samples) and great for sensitive skin! 10/10

As someone who uses adhesives to keep medical devices secure on my skin, I was excited to try Mastisol. I had been using Skin Tac, but when I switched to a new CGM sensor, I needed something stronger. The CGM company recommended Mastisol, so I gave it a shot. And I'm glad I did - it works wonderfully, keeping my overpatches in place for longer periods. However, the tiny bottle it comes in is a nightmare. The hard plastic and awkward tip make it a challenge to apply the product. I've tried using a cotton swab, squeezing the bottle upside down, and even rubbing the tip against my skin - all with varying degrees of success. It's a bit of a trial-and-error process, and I'm not thrilled about it. If I'm honest, I'd probably try to remove the top if I purchased this bottle again, just to make it more manageable. Despite the struggles, I appreciate the strong adhesion, and I'll likely continue using Mastisol. But I wish they'd reconsider the packaging!

I previously tried the Freestyle Libre CGM system, but never got more than 1 1/2 days before the sensor fell off. I switched to the Dexcom G7 sensor, and used Mastisol to glue it in place. It held for 10 days, despite sweating heavily while working outdoors, showering, bumping it, lifting heavy boxes, and doing significant movement. This adhesive is great! I will definitely buy it again. While the adehesive seems expensive, the sensors are way too expensive to replace before 10 days of use. My only very small complaint is that the bottle has a little hole in its top, and it makes it difficult to precisely apply it to my body. I just purchased some small foam ended sticks from Amazon in hopes that it will help making application easier less messy.
