Excellent Travel Hotspot with Fast, Reliable Internet Anywhere!
The GlocalMe UPP 4G Mobile Hotspot with 60GB US Data & 12GB Global Data is an excellent travel companion. Setup was incredibly easy, and I was online within minutes without needing a SIM card or signing any contract. The connection is fast and stable, making it perfect for browsing, video calls, streaming, navigation, and remote work while travelling. The included 60GB US data and 12GB global data provide great value, and it's reassuring to know it works in 200+ countries. One of my favourite features is the ability to connect upto 8 devices at the same time, making it deal for families, our business trips. The compact, pocket-sized design makes it easy to carry anywhere. If you're looking for a reliable, hassle-free portable WiFi solution for travel, I highly recommend the GlocalMe UPP 4G Mobile Hotspot. It's convenient, dependable, and well worth the investment. Highly recommended!

Amazing
The device was easy to set up and connected quickly. The free data offer is a great bonus and worked as advertised. The internet speed is stable for browsing, navigation, and streaming. It’s compact, lightweight, and convenient for travel. Battery life is also good. Overall, I’m very satisfied with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone who needs portable Wi-Fi.

Took a chance and ordered this portable WIFI!
I bought this portable wifi to use in Jamaica on vacation. Currently, it works very well, just needs to be charged daily so keep a portable charger with you at all times to boost it up! It was pretty easy to set up and the password is conveniently printed on the back of the device...which makes it very easy for me! It has worked inside the house and out on the street so good signal strength...it is even more reliable than the WiFi in the house! Considering that this is portable and usable in over 200 countries, the possibilities are limitless and that makes the price well worth it!

Decent initial trial, and apparently works anywhere, but service is a scam
Although it seems to work reasonably well, and anywhere in the world; I found that there's nobody on the customer service number, and you can't buy service without giving them all of your information. I used cash on a clean prepaid card, and they wouldn't accept it. It's a data mining product. Very suspicious, and charges a lot for the data. Reports here say that it's annoying to set up with the optional sim card, and I don't know anything about that. I used the e-sim that's installed. The data included with purchase seemed to run out quickly, but had a decent connection in remote US. Overall, I don't trust anything about this product. Made in China, and works like a Chinese product. Functional, cheap hardware, but demanding of personal information. Use caution. Edit: I've activated it with a local SIM, and it's compatible with every cell company I've talked to about it. Most weren't sure, but found it acceptable. They may have blocked it since, which has happened with other devices I've tried. This specific device is only 4G, but worked well with it.

Reliable Portable WiFi for Travel
bought this portable hotspot for traveling, and it has worked very well. The setup was quick, and I was able to get online within just a few minutes without needing to install a SIM card. The connection has been stable for checking email, browsing the web, using maps, video calls, and even light streaming. I also like that multiple devices can connect at the same time, so it’s convenient when traveling with family. The battery lasts long enough for a full day of normal use, and the device is compact enough to fit easily in a pocket or backpack. Having prepaid data included makes it very convenient since there’s no contract or monthly commitment.

Loss of data!
This device comes with 10 GB of data. Unfortunately, the instructions do not tell you that if you sign up using Apple, you can’t see the password that is needed in order to connect to the Wi-Fi. Then, if you change to a different email address, you lose all your data. We reached out to them via the email. Nothing. No response at all. Crickets, that’s it. So we basically spent a good chunk of money on this device and still have to buy data just to test it out to make sure it works before we leave on our international trip. And no customer service whatsoever. Not awesome. ***** UPDATE ***** Changing our 1 star to 3 stars. Customer service did get back to us and told us how to 'get the data back'. The suggestion worked! YAY! The only issue now is that we still have to buy data for our trip. We purchased this item for an international trip, but the data that comes with the box is local, which we don't need. So we still have to buy a global plan. None of the product details or instructions mentioned any of this that we could see. For two phones, the data runs out really really fast. It was more expensive to buy this device and all of the multiple purchases of data than if we had just used the local wi-fi service in the country we were visiting.

Easy to carry!
I bought this for our trip to Italy and then to have at home in case of internet outages. There were times when it didn't work in Italy. It seemed like it didn't work when there were other wifi options nearby, like in the airport or in the hotel, but those internet connections were incredibly slow. But when we were in areas without wifi, it worked. It works great from home. Love the color. Love the portability. It's nice to have available if/when my home internet goes down.

Big improvement over earlier models
I have been using the GlocalMe G2 model for my travels for some years and was looking for an upgrade. The G2 model was good but it was a bit outdated and connection was sometime unstable. I chose this DuoTurbo model for more stable connection and more connected devices (10). I have used it for about a week now in US and Canada and everything meets my expectations. It has a sleek design and a very portable size for travel, the colored touch screen is clear and easy to operate but is a bit small. Set up was straight forward and connection is very stable. One full charge can last about 18 to 20 hrs. It is SIM-less and you need to purchase data package from GlocalMe or deposit money in your account for pay as you go charges. The packages are a bit expensive but discounts are provided frequently. It is quite flexible to fit people travelling to different countries. You can also insert a SIM card of your own. Apart from the expensive packages, everything is good for my need, an excellent upgrade.

A great little 4G hotspot
So, this hotspot comes with an installed "GlocalMe" esim, with a bit of prepaid data to get it running out of the box. I bought mine to use with a physical SIM card on a local mobile provider, and it worked perfectly. The web-based management user interface is fine, and fairly intuitive. I didn't install the app, though I suspect it will make it easier for owners to configure the hotspot and subscribe to Glocalme services. The hotspot lasts quite a few hours continuous (longer than 12 hours for me.) It had no issues connecting to my mobile network and provided reasonable (though not extraordinary) 4G upload and download speeds.

Expensive and unreliable garbage
This thing sucks. Not at all worth the purchase price. Its slow and connections time out frequently. The data plans are outrageously expensive and the device consumes data with a voracious appetite. If you're a c suite executive with an expense account, you *may find the performance acceptable. But if you"re paying over $1.70 USD per GB of slow and spotty data you're going to be alittle annoyed. The best feature is that your purchased data package expires! That's right, you pay through the nose for a data package that expires 30 days following activation with no roll over. You can't "ration" your data because you don't know how much data you might be consuming exploring a town with Google Maps, forcing you to purchase another outrageously overpriced data plan, again. I've spent hours in cafes trying to get the damn thing to connect to local 4G networks using locally purchased SIM cards but the user app is so bloated with ads I honestly can't figure out what the hell the instructions are trying to communicate to me. You're guessing as to which network you're connected to, if you're connected at all. The printed instructions and the app were written by a non native English speaker and serve to frustrate the user. The smarter move here is to purchase a second hand cell phone and get a local data plan with a local SIM card. The user interface on a laptop is slow and freezes frequently. This has been one of the worst purchases of my life as the device is unreliable, has horrendous user interface options, frustrating written user instructions, and an app so bloated with ads you can't figure out what the hell you've done with the device much less what you're trying to accomplish with the confusing and convoluted app. I'm going to toss the device into the trash right now. Attempting to rely on piece of garbage is simply too frustrating.

Does the job
Works great.

It works well
The hotspot is really effective. The plans however are on the pricey side and the data “seems to disappear at an accelerated rate because of their advertising that keeps popping up on the app”. I bought a separate SIM car and deleted the app….works great.

Mobile Hotspot works as expected, signal had no drop-offs
Used it in interior BC middle of nowhere, still had great reception. Battery also held up, I ran it from morning to afternoon then manually turned it off - still had juice. I used the in-app plans, but I saw other comments suggesting your own SIM can be used. Haven't tested that portion yet.
