My child’s eyes are matted upon waking up from allergies/cold. No discoloration on the whites of eyes. Would this help eliminate discharge?

I can't say for sure, but I've used it for all kinds of eye irritation, including what was probably pink eye, and it's always helped. It may take a few days. I love this stuff!

Is this good for preventing swimmer's ear?

Sounds like this is more for treatment of symptoms, not prevention.
