Is this true? What are the limitations?** A: That's true, the action of this joystick is linear. It does a slight ease in/out when you press and release it, but the motion is one speed. It's good for adjustments before you record, but not while you're recording. **Q: Will it work with pocket 3?** A: I don't think the pocket 3 will ever come out, at this point. I think that product has been cancelled. This peripheral works with both pocket versions. **Q: Can this work with pocket 1? Also, is this work well and better than the control wheel?** A: Yes it can work with the pocket 1. It really depends on the user. Some like the granular controls with the wheel because you can only do one movement at a time and extra buttons. It is bigger also when you add it because of the size and if you have big hands that might be a plus. This mini stick 2 makes it more compact in terms of combining all that and make it easier to put in the pocket or some cases. I will say I had used a control wheel before and it broke after a week of using it everyday on vacation. I switched to this and so far it has been OK.
