Exact Replacement, Works Great
I have a 2009 Jeep Wrangler that has the 6.5" Uconnect RER model. The touchscreen stopped responding and would randomly start pushing buttons.I gave this digitizer a shot after reading some Jeep forum posts and figured for the price it was worth trying before I yank the entire head unit out and drop kick it down the street. It's not a simple process to swap this out. It does involve removing the unit from the dash and then disassembling the head unit to get to the digitizer, then swapping the part and reassembling everything before installing the head unit back in the dash. I would say it's not for the faint of heart, it isn't terribly complicated, but it is rather involved. The digitizer was an exact fit for my unit. After reinstallation in the Jeep everything sems to be working as intended so I'm rather happy with the repair. We now have a working Uconnect once again and all is well.My biggest advice is to make sure you understand which Uconnect you have, there are several different models and different touchscreen sizes out there. But this item worked perfectly for mine and I would recommend it for anyone who has the same Uconnect unit with a touchscreen that isn't working.

Works the same or better than the OEM digitizer
I used this to replace a faulty digitizer in my 2009 Jeep Wrangler. My head unit just started to respond erratically and activate itself randomly. The new digitizer came in a sturdy box and within the box, it was placed within a bubble wrap envelope and lastly the digitizer was secured to a hard piece of cardboard. Very well packaged. The digitizer had a protective plastic film on both sides. Aside from some minor color differences, the connector appeared identical in shape and length. There were no instructions provided with the digitizer and no links to any videos or online instructional. It takes about 10 minutes to carefully remove the head unit from the Jeep and it takes 20-30 minutes with the right tools ( torx bit, plastic prying tool, small pliers, and cardboard cutter) to carefully disassemble it for replacing the digitizer. The new digitizer is provided with adhesive strips (comes with more than enough) to secure it to the LCD screen bezel once you get the old digitizer off. Taking the old digitizer off is the most critical step as careless prying will shatter it and sticking long blades to remove the seal between the lcd bezel and the digitizer can result in a nasty scratch to your LCD... take your time and be careful and patient, you got zero room for a mistake. I watched a few videos, most useful was one on youtube posted by user "Factory Radio Parts" and titled "How to disassemble and repair the touchscreen in the Uconnect Mygig 430 REN & 730N RER RHR Radio". The touchscreen function was restored upon reinstalling the radio and it works great, very responsive. I have my radio back.So I give the product 4.5 stars for it being an exact reproduction of the original, connectors that are an exact fit, no mods needed, and (at least initially) restoration of the head unit to full function. I wish they provided some basic instructions with the product or a video tutorial link to one. There are not that many out there. As for price, doing it yourself and buying this will save you some serious money. I paid well in excess of $350 to ship it and have it repaired (on a second Jeep) by a shop. Ebay sells these from anywhere between $50 and $200, the one sold from Amazon was sold with a 1 year warranty. As for longevity of the repair, time will tell.

Easier than it looks
My 2011 Ram 1500, equipped with the 730N RHR unit, screen was intermittent. It would randomly change stations and have a hard time connecting to aux inputs. I was about ready to drop some serious scratch for a replacement, when I happened across a video of someone changing the screen. I took me a little less than an hour to fix it and that includes removing and replacing the radio from the dash.

Easy fix
So my touch screen stopped working..been driving around over a yr listing to AM talk radio before i learned i could swap out the digitizer screen instead of buying a new radio...soooo much better and a way cheaper fix...Watched a video to follow along and i was done in no time....This was for my 09 Jeep Wrangler..took about 10-15 mins to get the radio out of the dash and another 15 mins to take the radio apart.....you need a sharp tool to cut away the screen..its glued in..be careful to not put the blade to far in....cut along the edges and its off...stick the new one on and ur good....Put it all back in and bam.....new radio....All in all, took about 45 mins. Very easy..

Fits 2008 Sebring REN 6.5" Radio
It put my radio back in service. I didn't like being told (by the driver) it was not for me, it was my neighbor's package, nor did I care for the photo of my neighbor's porch delivered to my email.

Worked perfectly!
There are plenty of You Tube videos showing you how to change the screen. You just have to be careful and take your time. I was able to do it in about an hour. The hardest part is removing the old digitizer. No matter how hard I tried, including using a heat gun, I still managed to break it in to pieces while trying to remove it. It's glued down pretty well. Once the new one was installed, it worked great. No issues whatsoever.

Piece of cake
Took my useless cracked touch screen to working perfectly in about 45 minutes start to finish. I was surprised how easy it was to install. I am absolutely satisfied with this.

It made my stereo work again
I'm not the type to ordinarily tempt something like replacing the touch screen. I watched utube videos till I had the procedure down and played it again while I did the replacement, holding my breath I plugged everything back into my truck and it works like brand new.
