I now own 2 sets of these weights: the 1 kg pair I bought three years ago, and the new 3 kg pair I purchased recently. In the photos you can see both sets together. Honestly, the older ones look almost identical to the brand-new ones. Any small dust marks are from my own use, when they arrived, they were perfectly clean 🙂 For 3 years I’ve used the 1 kg weights regularly for arms, legs, tons of exercises, stretching, pilates, everything. The quality has been flawless. The stitching never came undone, the fabric never rubbed or irritated my skin, the material never smelled or faded. And most importantly: the velcro straps held perfectly every single time. That was my biggest worry when I bought them originally, but they exceeded all expectations. Because they lasted so long and still look practically new, I decided to buy the heavier 3 kg version. I was a bit nervous as heavier weights usually have more pressure on the straps but the new pair arrived in excellent condition and the velcro is just as strong as on the smaller set. I’ve already tested them in several workouts and they stay perfectly secure without any slipping. They also updated the design slightly: the ends of the velcro straps are now rounded. It seems like a tiny detail, but when you open and close the straps daily for years, this makes a noticeable difference. A very thoughtful improvement. Overall, both sets match perfectly in quality, fabric, comfort, and construction. After years of use, I can say confidently that these weights are reliable, durable, comfortable, and absolutely worth the purchase. Highly recommend 👍🏻

The materials feel sturdy and well-made. The straps are secure and comfortable, with no slipping during movement. I’ve used them on both my ankles and wrists, and they stay in place without digging into my skin – even during longer sessions.

Have used these twice now around my ankles and for me, being an older woman, find much easier to put on by myself, find they stay in place (1.5kg each), and are secure. They don't feel bulky. Earlier I purchased a pair of blue velcro (2 straps on each) ankle weights which were not easy to put on by myself, they kept falling down even when put on tightly (by my husband) and one even dropped down to the back of my heel, my ankles are neither slim or large - frustrating!! These, for me are a much better fit

These ankle weights are extremely well made, good quality neoprene, stitching is on point, no loose threads etc, and the locking system works very well, and is also made of good quality materials. These are priced slightly higher than a lot of the competition’s products however the extra cost is justified by the overall quality of the product. I have some of the cheaper versions and I’m already having to replace them after less than a years (admittedly heavy) use of less than 3 months. The new ones already appear and feel superior to my previous set. Time will tell if they last any longer but judging from experience I am anticipating that they will. They are also a lot more comfortable to wear than my previous set, this was obvious immediately during their first tryout. All in all I feel that these justify a 5* review and hope this helps anyone that is considering these as an option.

They are great. Trouble is one I can close easily. The other side I have to twist the strap to make it close.

Worth a go, as passive exercise that doesn’t feel like you’re having to do it..! Although without a doubt it puts pressure on your ankles so I would suggest only use if you don’t have ankle pain or issues already.
