A: 8 1/2 inches

**Q: Do the tips fall off?**
A: No they did not. No trouble with this item. Beautiful color metallic. Great on wet hair too.

**Q: Do fingerprints stay on the finish?**
A: No. Although the finish is "shinier" (like a mirror finish) than I thought it was going to be, I've had no issues with fingerprints at all (dry and/or wet clean hands).

**Q: What's the size of the brush?**
A: In this case size doesn't matter. I had to throw it away because of its odor. I tried washing it. I tried airing it out. Nothing worked. I DO NOT recommend this brush!
