Is this product really effective for puffiness under eyes?

Yes!! But it is not instant magic. You really can't tell much is happening during the first few days. I have been using it for a little over a week and very pleased with reduced puffiness (and dark circles are fading away - a bonus).

what is the caffeine percentage?

Not sure about the percentage, but of about 15 ingredients including aloe, vitamin E, etc. some sort of ‘caffeine’ ingredient is listed 3rd, 4th, and about 6th...coffee seeds, tea leaves, etc.

Why would you add alcohol if it dries your skin?

Who told you to add alcohol ??? You always need moisture around the eye area...alcohol would dry you out. I started using the eye cream about 2 weeks ago and there is a difference...
