It's thick and cozy. My skinny pig immediately claimed it as his new favorite sitting spot. Ran it through the wash and it seems to have survived unscathed. So far I consider it a good purchase.

How did I not know about these? I've spent a fortune on bedding the last 7 years and somehow tripped on these when I got a new guinea. These fit her cage perfectly. They're really nice and thick, very absorbant, and I haven't "smelled" them yet. I don't ever smell an odor during normal usage. They wash up amazingly. I bought 2 and wash one so I always have a clean one when I need it. I may get a 3rd to have one more in the mix. I would say I'm changing these twice a week just because I take meticulous care of her. I'll take it out and shake it to get the loose droppings and hay off between times of replacing it. I switch to a clean one twice a week. It makes cleaning the guineas cage so much easier. And she seems to love it and not chew it or bother it.

I brought 3 of these and my guinea pigs seems to love it after cleaning their cages they disappeared inside their hut and have gone to sleep I think I will enjoy not having hay shaving all over my floors.

I was worried my furry wouldn’t like it because it being new but he loves it. It is very absorbent and has cut down on the odor a good bit. I was very happy with how well it fit in his cage and how soft it is.

I love that there is now a more eco friendly option for cages when owning small animals. These pads are easy to clean (scoop the solids) and then put in the washing machine to get rid of the liquids. Extremely absorbent.

the mat is very comfy and soft, but it's very small. The picture makes me feel that it could fit the midwest cage but turns out very small and unusable in this type of cage.
