Polar Trailer8265 Cargo Cover (1200 Series), Standard, Black

Not only is this cover not water proof, it’s also not sun-resistant (UV treated) fabric. The sharp looking black quickly faded to a dingy light gray. I expected some fading to occur over time, but it completely washed out in one season. Yes, it’s just a utility trailer cover, but a tarp would do the job just as well, and they’re water proof and fade resistant. I couldn’t be happier with the Polar Trailer, but the cover is a disappointment.

Even bought this manufactures trailer and seems to work fine.The cover could stand to have brass eyelets for tie downs, two in the rear and two near the front.This would allow the cover to be pulled firmly not creating a low spot for debris/water collection.This is the only reason I gave 4 stars in rating.One can design they're own tie down bungee cords/adjustable straps/brass eyelets to go underneathe the trailer to prevent any slack when not loaded or to protect the contents and not worry about the wind blowing off the cover.Yes, I would recommend this item to others.Thanks again for a quality product, Jack, Utah.

Lowe’s sells the HD 1200 series for $278! + if your military or a vet another 10% off I’ll put more out here once it’s all together.Also get a can of water proofing and spray your tarp / cover at least twice. You could also replace the zipper with a waterproof type zipper... Hint / note to the manufacturer. Goretex waterproof zippers are out there.

Perfect for hunting and utility use! Follows and tracks well over any trail my ATV can travel! The cover is very effective at keeping mud, snow, and rain out and off the gear!

Fits well but does not keep rain out. Went to dump water from to and it had all seeped inside. Disappointed

After a week or two outside I removed the cover and found the Cart was full of water. The poor design allows all the water to come through the Zipper and into the Cart. I wish I could get my money back but the cover sat in my garage unopened for months while my Cart was stored indoors.

Before I purchased the Cover for the HD 1500 Series Cover my concern was would it fit on the trailer which had installed the top rails . The cover is sturdy and appears well made and fits the trailer very well even with the rails. I would recommend this item for those who are looking for a cover for their Polar Trailer.RBR

Great product, easy assembly. Trailer is high quality and performs perfectly, even on uneven terrain. Exactly what I was looking for and then some.
