I bought this to use after a combined vitrectomy and cataract operation when I had to remain face down for 10 days. I really do not know how I would have managed without it! To sit face down without this puts immense strain on your neck and shoulders but this removes the strain as it supports you comfortably. There were times when I nearly nodded off to sleep in it! The head and chest parts are adjustable and very comfy indeed. I sat at the dining room table with a cushion to give me more height. I personally was not able to read / use my Ipad with it as for me my face was too close to the table and my specs not easily accommodated but that may vary from one individual to another. All in all, a very good buy. Highly recommended for post vitrectomy recovery.

My wife has had an eye operation , and has to assume a posturing position for 50 minutes each hour for ten days. The support from this Eartlite product has been brilliant and she has really needed the support this has achieved for her. Would definitely recommend this for any one having to have eye surgery. She is using it at the dining table, but it can also be used on the bed, so allowing the patient to lay down if required. Well done.

I bought this to help with face-down positioning following eye surgery and it proved to be ideal for me. Well-made and fairly easy to set up and adjust once I'd managed to read the small-print instructions - but maybe that was just me! The tilt adjustments were really straightforward and easy to use, but the height adjustment was awkward to reach and on mine was very stiff to move. Once in position, it felt very sturdy and secure.I did have to spend some time working out the best table / chair combination for the set-up, and can see this could be an issue if you don't happen to have something suitable. I ended up having to put bricks under the table legs to get the height right. If this was being used for a quick half-hour massage therapy, this may not be so critical, but for lengthy face-down positioning it needs to be right.Overall, I am really pleased with this product and would recommend it. (I also had a massage table with face support, but found that far less comfortable, although it was good to be able to have a change of position now and then.)

Bought because of macular hole surgery the product was a great support. The face pillow can be taken off and used separately. The equipment adjusts very well. Delivery was quick too.

This looks sturdy and the face pad is soft but none of this matters if the instructions are inadequate and these were exactly that. An e mail to the company was ignored so it was sent back. Ophthalmics at my local hospital were ambivalent at best. It promised much but failed to deliver.
