Great “Do-It-All” light.
The Nitcore MH25S has an output of 1800 lumens and 63k candela. I’m a very big fan of this light and Nitecore as a company. I’ve been using this light for almost a year now on duty and can say it’s held up well so far with no major hiccups. The output ratio between lumens and candela is perfect for what I do. Plenty of lumens and situational awareness for lighting up tight and open spaces for PID and enough candela to push past photonic barriers, natural barriers (rain, snow, fog, etc.), modified panes of glass like tinted windows, and plenty of candela to disrupt the visual plane of any adversary in a defensive situation.Battery life from the rechargeable 21700 is very good. I primarily work nights and I’ve gone a few weeks between charges with this light and the indicator will still show 70% battery life with moderate use. There is a thermal step down after about 5-6 mins of constant on beginning on turbo mode.Speaking of modes I’m a very big fan of the different programmable modes the light utilizes. I have my light set to tactical mode where the light, once initiated, will start off on turbo mode and no matter what mode I had the light on first, it will revert back to turbo mode once switched off and back on. Very nice feature to have coming from a Modlite Handheld light.A few cons to note, the Nitecore retention knuckle/clip is a friction based clip system. So unlike the Thyrm Switchback, it won’t stay on the light body during fast transitions from a modified roger’s technique to a hammer grip. Duct tape will solve that problem as shown in my picture of the light. Also, the door to the charging port did come of during frequent holstering and unholstering of the light unfortunately. Currently using duct tape on that as well lol.All-in-all, a very nice well rounded and durable light. Originally had a Modlite 18650 with a PLHv2 head but quickly switched to the MH25S as my daily driver on and as my off duty EDC. Soon I will put it to the test against my upcoming Acebeam L17 and L18 and see how they both fair.

This light is impressive.
I own a Klarus g15 that puts out 4000 lumens. It's a great light and very bright. This Nitecore MH25S only puts out 1800. Now of course the Klarus is much more floody and the MH25S is a thrower. But the difference in visibility is extreme. This MH25S lights up everything like daytime for hundreds of yards. It recently rained here, it was a torrential down pour. With the porch light on you could only see a few feet. So I decided it would be a good time to test just how good this light worked. I was greatly impressed to see the tool shed at 100 yds away with no problem. I was shocked. This light is impressive. It is worth every penny. Nitecore makes top notch lights.

Fits in your hand perfectly and has the large battery capacity
I wish this had the stainless steel protection ring on top of it like the MH 27 lights u you could also put a red or green laser in it to spot where you’re looking at would make this light perfect then. I will be waiting for them to put a laser in one of these MH flashlights .

My best throwing light I own!
I just bought this light and when it arrived I took it out to my local BLM after dark to “play” with it. Man I tell you...... this light is AWESOME. When they say it throws,it throws!

Best Flashlight yet
I have 5-different Nitecore lights. All are very well made and reliable. I keep them in my truck and my house, ready to go. Can't go wrong with these lights.
