Quiet Riot - Greatest Hits

The first three albums were pretty good. After that not so good. The hits are all here on this album at an excellent price . Recommended!

Compiling some of the best tracks from the Pasha Years which saw Kevin DuBrow on lead vocals for Metal Health, Condition Critical and QRIII and Paul Shortino on the self titled fourth album QR.What you get are 6 studio tracks from the DuBrow years consisting of 3 from M.H., 2 from C.C. and 1 from QRIII and 3 studio tracks from QR with Shortino on vocals. And to end the album 2 previously unreleased live tracks with DuBrow on vocals.The booklet interior is very lackluster. It is a simple bifold with minimal track info, no band photos, no info from where the live tracks were taken from and no remastering (if any) or album compiled by data.It's still a solid 4 star release due to the best cuts from this era plus the live tracks that are presented but unfortunately with no info mentioned above within the booklet it loses at least one star.

I know I'm not very imaginative when it comes to titling my reviews, but that's the way it goes.Another band that wasn't around for very long. I don't think it was the people who decided to shelve them. I don't know if this music is very popular with anyone else, I don't care about others' opinions. I still love it. My fav song is The Wild and The Young. It's a teen anthem type of song. Music that is very much relevant today as it was when it was first released.

Great CD. Like a walk down memory lane. Have tickets to see Quiet Riot this summer and taking our teen daughter. Wanted to introduce her to the music before we go BUT she knew 3 of the songs already!! This band rocks.
