Lovely book
The media could not be loaded. Although I haven't started on the tasks inside they do look interesting and thought provoking. Will definitely get the creative juices flowing. Aesthetically it's a beautiful book, full of colour, lots of pictures. I really like it.

Inspiring!
Soul Color by Emma Burleigh is such an inspiring, beautiful, gentle and creative dive into the wonderful world of watercolours. It’s been so calming and relaxing working with Emma’s guidance through the different creative exercises.Would really recommend this to anyone interested in exploring and developing their creativity; gaining skills and confidence with watercolours; exploring mindful art or art therapy; playing and having fun with colour, imagination and self expression:-)Fab!! 😊

Recommended for anyone wanting to play and enjoy watercolours
An absolutely beautiful book with gorgeous illustrations throughout. It is easy to follow and suitable for anyone. For beginners, there are genuinely useful tips and the 'basics' of using watercolours but the more experienced will still get plenty out it due to imaginative exercises with a focus on exploration and well being which is a very refreshing way to approach a 'course'.

This book is more than words and pictures. It is an experience of total beauty and soul craft. My whole household has benefited from this and become more confident with water colours and with expressing themselves. It’s been delightful!

An inspiring book!
An excellent book with beautiful illustrations which could be just used as a watercolour painting course for the beginner, but add to that Emma Burleigh’s insightful writing on painting with mindfulness and you have an inspirational work for both the newcomer and more experienced artist, and indeed anyone who is interested in mindfulness and meditation.

Wonderful combination of inspiration and ideas
I absolutely love this book. It’s a unique mixture of watercolor instruction, mindfulness and creative inspiration. It also has wonderful quotes about art, color, and creative ingenuity throughout. It’s one of my favorites and the price was incredible. So glad it showed up as a suggestion.

The worst book I have bought in a very long time
Why is it so bad in my opinion, the colours are blah and the information content is not about technique or art as such but about angels and demons. If I had wanted a book that discussed such things I would not have bought a book about art. If I could have given a lesser score I would have. There is nothing at all I can say was OK.It just reminded me why I generally never buy books that doesn't allow a preview of the contents.Truly nasty book.

Learn to use watercolor without pressure
It's a wonderful book for someone who wants to get started in watercolour but is scared of making a mess. This is the type of book that will get you painting first, and perfecting later.

A Permanent Place on my Art Bookshelf
I have several go to books for creativity and am now adding this to that list. The projects are simple, build on each other and tap into intuition and imagination. A lovely book and worth every penny. The projects are not step by step, rather loose instructions are given that leave room for you to interpret as you see fit. Might I also suggest the following books if you are looking to learn more creative skills:Art Escapes by Dory KanterThe Creative Artist by Nita LelandBoth beautiful books with both fun and useful projects. Nevermind they are decades old. They are timeless in their offerings.
