It does not allow ANY light inside (other than some tiny sliver of light escaping at the sides since I could not hang them flushed against the window) and also provide good thermal barrier. I live in the Middle East and sun shines very bright here and also its very hot during summer. Since we started using them in our apartment, we have to check our phones to make sure its morning and our windows faces almost east and we don't have any tall buildings or trees in our neighborhood to block the light. As for sound isolation, maybe it works... I am not sure as we have some constrictions happening two floors directly below us since we bought them so I cannot say how much adequate it is in a residential neighborhood, but for us, currently, it does not help much with stopping sound.

Really good quality material 😍I ordered a pair for my bedroom, I had to alter one of them cause it was 2 cm longer than the other, but considering the price and convenience, I did not find that to be a problem.The color is so complimenting 💯

Really nice curtains, made out of quality material. Perfectly sewen. And blocks out almost all the light. The under lining is a thick cloth as well. Now I can sleep in peace.
