Wow! I never felt so compelled to rush to draft a review! I’m a licensed master aesthetician, 15 years in the professional beauty industry, and have been a certified Body Sugaring Practitioner for 8 years. I have experience with the top professional sugaring companies in this industry. I have to say, I was in a pinch and my order didn’t come in on time. I run a very busy medical aesthetics practice and have a slew of sugaring appointments this week. Regretfully, I took to Amazon prime. Most aestheticians especially Master/Medical Aestheticians are hardcore product snobs, because we only what the best, most authentic, and highly performing ingredients in everything we use. Efficacy and how products react with the skin is everything to us. I looked over the ingredients here, looked at the way the product looked in the container, and it seemed this one, out of many others, seemed like the closest to what I use and would be delivered quickly, and would get me through my appointments. Boy, was I in for a pleasant surprise! I needed one for Brazilians and one for full leg services. So I purchased the Ultima and Ultra. I was looking for something equivalent to a firm and a soft. The sugaring paste came packed EXTREMELY professionally! The container the label the business cards EVERYTHING was extremely professional! Quite elegant I must add. I blended it with the bit of my other sugaring paste just in case I was disappointed. I did use my sugar paste warmer to bring it to the appropriate temperature and wow! Absolutely fabulous results! Just as good as my Tamera’s Sugaring Paste. For the pros wondering about this: I don’t think any sugaring paste can compare to Alexandria Professional’s , but if you’ve ever used Tamara’s Sugaring paste I’d say this sugaring paste is in a class of its own as well, but is definitely more comparable to Tamara’s. The Ultima is a true firm. The Ultra works more like a medium soft. Kinda wish I’d ordered the Gentle because I like soft sugar for the legs and I use the ancient technique. I don’t use this as a form of waxing so I don’t use any strips but I was worried the Gentle would work like Alexandria professional’s Kiss, which is a thinner sugar for people who use sugaring paste in place of soft wax. After using the Ultra, I think I will purchase the Gentle. I’m very excited about this product line. I’m surprised to see a product like this on Amazon because this isn’t for the general public, as one can gather by reading through the reviews (also just my opinion). This product is high quality and hands down a professional item for licensed Aestheticians and Cosmetologists that are trained Body Sugaring Practitioners. Otherwise, you wouldn’t know exactly how to maneuver this or would have bruises. Or you’d try to use this like it’s wax. It’s definitely not! Definitely am an instant fan, and will be reordering more. THANKS SUGARING FACTORY! Your products and packaging, even the way the product was packaged for delivery was exceptional. Love your vibe!

UPDATE: after having the hard dough the first time I got sick of trying to get it out of the container and I felt like it was still too hard to get some hair (armpit mostly) effectively so I tried the medium next. The medium grabs hair more effectively BUT it is too sticky to use within a few rips and I’m constantly having to throw away and grab a new piece. So the hard is too hard and the medium is too sticky. Great. First off, I got the hard sugar dough. It really is rock hard when you open the container. If you don’t heat it a little bit you aren’t getting any out of the container. This isn’t a big deal. Stick the entire jar in the microwave for 10-15 seconds at a time until it’s pliable. Once you get a hunk out (I still had to dig with a spoon) you need to play with it for a couple minutes to make it even more pliable. This was my first time sugaring and I had watched a few videos but it was incredibly easy. It hurts WAY less than waxing which is really impressive seeing as it seems like the same thing. It was MUCH easier to pull out hairs in some of the more difficult places like your arm pits where the hair grows multiple directions. I even did my bikini area and that was much easier than waxing as well. I am a complete convert and will keep sugaring and only shave in an emergency from now on!

Same as homemade, they all seem to miss some hairs but still pretty effective. I can't use on my down stairs down stairs but the top portion and sides is bearable, armpits and all else. Do smaller area at a time esp in sensitive zones. I find smoothing on with all four fingers then pulling it up with hand, a flick of the hand is best and covers more.

I was not expecting that level of hardness, I highly suggest not getting the hardest type and going for softer, I bent many spoons trying to get it out of the container.

Ok, let me start by saying I am a total novice and not at all a professional. About 2 months ago I gave into a very convincing Instagram ad and bought the Sugar Me Smooth sugaring kit. When I first tried it, I struggled, but I liked the results! I used up the entire jar in only a few attempts. With the Sugar Me Smooth brand I found myself getting frustrated and totally sticky and broken fingernails from the credit card applicator.... But still I liked the results. SO! I decided to branch out and try a new brand that comes in a larger jar to continue my sugaring practice... and oh man, this product is better than I could have asked for!! I ordered the "hard" variety (the jar says "Ultima" but the description is the same) and it is 100 times easier to use that the standard Sugar Me Smooth "body" sugar. The Luxury Pro product is hard enough I could use just my fingers like I've seen in tutorials but couldn't previously achieve. This product isn't overly sticky or melty and I was able to wax both my legs (1/2 leg to my knees) with one golf ball sized piece and even then it was manageable and I could have continued to wax more areas if I'd wanted to. Almost no wax was stuck to my legs when I was done and any tiny bits left rinsed very easily. I will say I used the Sugar Me Smooth drying power (bentonite clay) periodically since it's a hot summer day. This jar will last me a LONG time and I will not hesitate to buy again when I run out.
