Gate Lock Box for Mechanical Combination Locks

Made 2 gates going on 3. For the price and quality it’s good. These photos are the first two gates I’ve ever welded together so definitely beginner friendly. Steel was thick enough I didn’t burn through. My steel channels to hold the wood were 11gauge I feel the lock box was similar maybe a little thinner but not enough to burn though. I’m not a contractor just a DIY guy

I bought two of these boxes. They were welded into metal gates and painted black to match the fence. Each box holds a combination lock and handle designed to fit in the box. After use all summer and experiencing a winter, they continue to look good and function well. They continue to appear sturdy and are showing no signs of wear. One is on a gate that is used multiple times a day. Both gates have automatic spring gate closure mechanisms. The boxes do not seem to be impacted by the "slamming" of the gate that often occurs with the automatic closures.

Very sturdy for the price. I was expecting something light and cheaply made but completely the opposite. Heavy gauge lock holder. Very happy.

Good product I have used it for my front gate door it worked perfect.

Regardless of the listing and box saying it's raw steel, it was coated with zinc. Was annoying, as I had to strip it for the coating process that I wanted.
