These books are of acid free paper and a smooth surface…..perfect for pen and ink and watercolour, acrylic or gouache.

This heavy weight paper is great for both watercolor and mixed media. It is heavy enough paper that I can use both sides with repeated heavy wet washes, and not even have to worry about bleeding through to the other side of the paper.

Very thick and absorbent watercolor paper
Overall I am satisfied with the paper as I am new to the watercolor painting art. I did notice that I felt the thickness of the paper was not consistent throughout the entire bundle. I am using them to make watercolor cards and the ability to fold the paper and still look nice was good for the first 2/3 of the bundle but the last 1/3 of the bundle was so thick and did not make a nice looking card, it looked sloppy. I ended up cutting the paper, painting my card and then adhere them to another colored card stock. It worked out.
