Ocean Surface Waves: Their Physics and Prediction (2nd Edition)

In my opinion this is the definitive handbook on ocean surface waves. It cover the statistical and deterministic theory of deep water waves while at the same time giving you updated knowledge on what is currently being done. A welcome complement to other books on ocean waves covering waves in general as well waves specific to certain scenarios. The english grammar is very good and the book is not a direct stiff translation of a book written from another language. Good figures and expansion on the 1996 version. I will say that this book is what allowed me to complete my thesis on ocean surface waves by getting me up to speed very quickly in the area.
