I purchased this item after my old ice pack, from a different brand, started leaking and had to be thrown away. I purchased 1 of these originally but after using it for a couple months I purchased a second one for my daughter. I have chronic migraines and she has an injured knee. One of us always had the ice pack so we really needed 2. It stays cold a very long time and is surprisingly pliable considering how cold it gets. Very durable. I can’t sing it’s praises enough! The size can be changed up due to it having 3 sections. I fold it in thirds for my neck but it you lay it flat, it would easily cover your lower or upper back. I highly recommend this product! This cold pack is kind of specific in that it’s a little stiffer but can be perfect for some needs. My husband slipped during the last ice storm and landed on the stone steps and badly hurting the side-ish of his back. This cold pack was perfect when he was sitting up because it stayed up (didn’t squish down) and it has two two creases allowing it to bend or wrap around right where he needed it. I put a hand towel around the cold pack so it was not too cold against him. Coldness lasted a couple hours. Could’ve used it to lay down on but he liked the softer Colpac one for laying on. Both of these cold packs really helped him, along with a third one we had at home for around the clock ice packs to reduce inflammation. No buyers remorse and it came in the very next day, thank you Amazon and Hampton Adams!

It's good that I got a pack of two of these. I'll use the first one - works great! But 15 minutes or so later it doesn't feel that cold. So I put the first in the freezer, take out the second one, and use that. That's usually enough to quench whatever pain I'm wanting to quench, and if it isn't I can go back to the first icepack because while they warm up quickly they also seem to cool down quickly. They're very comfortable to use, so no complaints. Not 5 stars, but close.

Had large area extending from front rt. lung to rib cage that needed to be iced am/pm. This and a good set of wide ace bandages got the job done. Good quality and well worth the money.

The best ice pack ..It last a long time it’s super soft and it wraps around your knee perfectly bought a lot of ice packs and this is the best..

I love these! They stay cold longer than other ice packs I have. It wrapped over my knee but not big enough to go completely around it. They stay maluable even when frozen. I bought a second one so I could bring one to bed and not have to lug it back downstairs for the morning.

I was very pleased; I wanted a gel ice pad comparable to what my PT used on my back during therapy sessions- it did not get hard in the freezer and it was large enough to cover my entire upper as well as lower back areas- great buy!
