The glue is super viscous and seems more similar to a wood glue base than something like CA that you could accelerate. I didn't have an issue getting this glue to set quickly. **Q: Would this be good to use on the accordion style paper surround? To seal small cracks and restore surround?** A: Yep. I repaired my subwoofer. Works great. **Q: Can this be used to repair a hole in the surround itself?** A: yes, works well on cone and on surround, if its an accordion or rolled paper surround depending on hole/tear size, I reinforce with black heavy construction paper **Q: How long will the bottle last once opened?** A: I purchased mine over a year ago.
