doesn't last long at all.
7 MONTHS POST REVIEWto preface this review, I want to say that I LOVED the item. I originally bought it for $50 back in June 2016, but thought because of the nature of suction cups and craziness of cats, I would review the item several months after. If you're someone that doesn't care about longevity of items purchased, go ahead and buy it! It was great the first two weeks. But for me, I would want something to last if I paid $50 dollars, and be safe for my cats.CONS:-suction cups (both types that are included in the order) lose suction after a couple weeks. I've tried cleaning the grime off (even though it was clean), wetting it before application on window, making sure no bubbles were between suction cups and window. It's just not strong enough for cats that jump onto it-safety concern: because of the cups, it poses a safety concern to the cats. I've actually witnessed it suddenly collapse upon the weight of my napping two kittens that collectively weigh less than 10 lbs.-no replacement parts for the metal strap that holds top levelPRO:-you are given one of each kind of suction cup.

What a disappointment
The strap on this window perch began to tear within days of installation under the weight of my 9 lb cat. What a disappointment. Easy to repair, but a hassle to have to at all, especially so soon after delivery.

Strong and Sturdy!
I am stoked with this purchase. It is really well made, sturdy, and large. It looks like it is very comfortable, and even fun for the cat(s). The instructions were hilariously translated, and majorly difficult to interpret, but the pictures made it awfully easy to set up regardless. I tested it with weights before letting the cats near it and it exceeded my expectations. First I did 15lbs on the bottom and 12lbs on the top. It didn't even sag under the weight. Then I upped the bottom level to 18 pounds and 12lbs so even someone with a Maine Coon could benefit from this window perch.

Flimsy as heck.
It's very flimsy framing. I wouldn't put two small cats on this! Plus the suction cups are horrible, I cannot get them to stay! I thought this was great idea. I had relaced this with the sun window thing that suctioned to the window and it was perfect! Looks like it's going back to that spot!

Meh. Too expensive.
While my cats like it well enough, I'm not pleased with the quality vs cost. It came with no mounting instructions, and while I think I figured it out, it has yet to hold two cats (~40# total) for more than 3 minutes before the suction cups fail.

Cats can't like what we like
My cats have not used this. They have explored it, but they haven't really used it. I keep it up but so far this is a disappoinment, Not to mention that if they do get interested I will have to keep an eye on it because it uses suction cups to hold them up. Its a great alternative to drilling into your windowsill, but still kinda of a disappointment because they do just come unstuck unpredictably. They can stay up for days or a day. Keep in mind cats are different and like to change there minds.

Actually Works
First window cat perch that actually works. Others I have tried kept falling off. One of my kitties adores this perch. The other doesn't because he had experienced the previous collapse of different window perches and has grown weary of them ever since.

It is alright but not great. The "tension support straps" just loop over the suction cups and do nor fasten very securely in my opinion. There were no instructions, but it was easy enough to figure out. You may want to measure your windows first. The original place where I wanted to put it did not have windows that were wide enough, and the suction cups would not stick to the wall. I just put it on a larger window. My cat seems to like it.
