Here is what you need to know regarding battery compatibility. This jack is 100% NOT COMPATIBLE with DeWalt batteries. Another review had said apparently they were but trust me they are not. Also if you ask Standtall (the company that sells this jack) about buying replacement batteries they will tell you that they do not offer them, but to contact them if the jack ever fails. Well that's great, until the jack goes out of warranty or if the seller goes out of business. Also if you look for 18v replacement batteries you probably won't be able to find them anywhere. Luckily you can use 21v batteries to provide power. There is an identical jack from another company (which I won't name because I don't want this review removed) that's light blue and black in color. That blue and black jack is advertised as 21v but you can use the batteries for that jack in this "18v" Standtall jack. I know because I also ordered the blue and black model and used that battery to power this Standtall jack. Also that battery had a label on it that said 18.5v when it's advertised as 21v. You can also get "21v" replacement batteries from other vendors on Amazon that will work with this jack. One of them has a 'Holaddbox' label on the side and is sold as "21V Rechargeable Lithium Ion Battery, Replacement Batteries for Mini Electric Chain Saw" but may also be listed under different headlines. Those batteries will have an identical key configuration and the same little AC adapter charging jack in the same spot as the included Standtall battery. I tested that battery and it also works despite being "21v," As for the jack itself I like everything about it, the smallish size and weight and the portability and carrying case that's included. Full disclosure I have not yet used to to lift a vehicle but have seen demoes of this same jack on YouTube. I did test the remote and it works great... A very good idea as a safety feature. You can start and pause the jack by pressing the up/down buttons. Press once to start the jack moving up or down, press again to stop the jack, press again to resume... So you can make fine tuned height adjustments as necessary. The upward firing light is bright enough and a good addition that conventional car jacks lack. Doesn't need wheels because the lift point doesn't move like a traditional shaped pump jack's does. Always use good jack stands once the car is lifted before getting under the vehicle. If I encounter any problems I will update my review.

Very pleased with this product. Used quite extensively over last few months. Battery is apparently deWalt compatible if needed, but the one supplied has plenty of capacity - can change 12 wheels at least on one charge. Provides a stable platform for work (but remember to use jack stands once lifted). The remote control is a definite plus. I though it was a gimmick at first, but actually it is very useful to avoid being under or near vehicle when lifting, and for doing small incremental lift adjustment e.g. when doing suspension work. The detail on this specific model is very good: good capacious case, thoughtful (and safe) slide cover over remote control buttons to prevent accidental activation, decent built-in light, controls both on remote and on the unit, battery socket cover for when stored. I think this is the best choice of the options for this type of jack out there. I think this type of jack is a must-have for any amateur mechanic. I had a 12v electric hydraulic compact jack unit previously which was fine (much better than trolley or bottle), but required a 12v power source and a cable to get in the way/disconnect at the wrong time. This battery model solves all those shortcomings. I use it extensively on my 4-post list - much preferred to trolley jacks (those move when jacking and cannot be used on lift) or manual bottle jacks, but even more useful if you only have ramps or work off the ground. An additional benefit is the lowest point is only about 6", decently less than regular bottle jack.

I was skeptical when I received the he electric car jack, but the jack is absolutely amazing. It really works and jacked up my car. Great presentation everything was neat and clean when it arrived, this is a game changer. I will still have Jack stands for the car, but this is a great purchase. I’m so glad I’m not going to bust my knuckles on the concrete trying to jack up the car moving forward with those jacks that they give you from the dealership.

I unfortunately was able to use this jack a few months ago when I had a blowout tire on the highway. Fortunately this Jack and Wrench performed flawlessly. We were lucky it was on a rear tire and we didn't loose control. In any case, the wire was long enough to reach comfortably to the back of the car without any issues from a 12V outlet between the driver and co-pilot seats. The jack worked well. You just need to make sure to place it at the right spot on the frame. I almost put it on the plastic paneling. The impact wrench also worked well to loosen the really stiff lug nuts. The impact didn't scratch or damage the lug nuts. The other random things in the kit were also nice to have. The whole kit doesn't take up to much space in the back of the car where it will live until the next time we need it.

This is the biggest piece of junk I have ever seen. The jack mechanism broke and would not raise or lower and was stuck in an elevated position. I had to go and buy a proper hydraulic jack to lift my jeep to get this silly thing out from under it. I should have just gotten a hydraulic jack in the first place. The plastic is cheap and creaks and has zero feeling of quality or safety. The impact drill made the worst noise I have ever seen. Also, the connector for a battery hookup didnt work. Just don't do it. If you did buy it, return asap.

Este es un kit recomendable para mujeres, personas mayores o simplemente para quienes no tienen o no quieren hacer fuerza. Ambas herramientas eléctricas se conectan a la batería o al encendedor de cigarros. Te recomiendo mantengas el motor encendido mientras los usas. La fuerza del aparato para quitar y poner las tuercas de las llantas tienen muy buena potencia, ten cuidado porque puedes trasroscar los barcos. El gato también sirve para inflar las llantas y tiene luz Led. Checa que los dados con que viene este kit sirva alguno para tu auto. Te recomiendo también conseguir los topes de llantas para bloquear el movimiento de tu auto y evitar un accidente, no son caros

This is a delightful kit - wish I'd discovered it sooner, and almost wish I had more to do! Just finished swapping winter wheels onto my 2 vehicles, effortlessly and feeling far more safe than a manual crank or pump jackl. The height is low enough for my Corolla, and tall enough for my Uplander van - The kit comes ina sturdy, quality case. The jack is much heavier and solid than I expected, and includes an additional upward facing LED, likely for nighttime locating the body lift point. The impact wrench is wonderfully quick, though not the best ergonomic - but eliminates need for breaker bar. I'm a senior, have been doing this for decades. Recommended!!

Terrible product. The jack lifted my Hyundai Tucson only about 1 cm and then stopped. The wrench feels like a toy — it won’t loosen or tighten anything. On the third attempt the jack just died. Completely useless. Do not recommend.
