Adult Probiotics & Prebiotics 50B CFU, for Gut Health, 60-day supply

I came a long way with these probiotics. I wasn't even sure I was going to continue taking them but I'm into my 5th week. The first day I took these, I had HORRIBLE cramping in my lower abdomen. It was like having one of the worst bladder infections of my life. I had pain that alternated between my lower abdomen and back, my legs felt cramped and sore and my toes were swollen. I could barely walk and sitting for hours at my desk was PAINFUL. In the 2nd week I couldn't take the pain anymore and started feeding on my period pain pills. That was the ONLY thing that stopped me from giving up on these probiotics. I read that someone had a similar effect from another product with a high count and they we're saying you had to start off with a low count and then work your way up. Taking so many pain pills to ease the symptoms of course is not healthy for my liver but this product was too expensive to quit on and every other probiotic I looked up had side effects no matter their count. THEN there were the bouts of TERRIBLE acid reflux, watching my stomach bloat, horrible indigestion and constipation that I had to deal with. I treated the acid reflux and bloating with some baking soda in warm water (not everyday, only when the symptoms we're unbearable). That really helped. The indigestion was eased by Rainbow Light Advanced Enzyme system. This really helped to break down the food in my stomach. Before trying both together, the food was literally on the top of my stomach. I was burping solid food in my throat sometimes. So this is my 5th week. I'm in awe I made it this far but overall it's not a bad product. The pain lasted about 2 1/2wks. I still have occasional constipation. Everything isn't free flowing yet. I'm trying to drink more water to see if that helps. My inflammation symptoms are not so bad either and burning I felt from my scalp eczema doesn't occur so often anymore. Acid reflux is to a minimum. I can feel my stomach doing a better job of digesting food. Im not fully healed but I'm slowly going uphill. Its also really helpful with digestive enzymes. I was thinking of trying another probiotic due to the price but the idea of going through all those side effects gives me the HORRORS literally. I'll stick to this one for awhile.

I've taken pro-biotics from different manufacturers and of different strengths for many years. I've always been happy (or thought so) with the products I'd been using. It was not until a doctor told me that I needed to be taking a pre-biotic with my pro-biotics to get the best results that I began looking around for a new product. After searching I found Intelligent Labs and their product. I have given it a month to make any difference. Frankly I was a bit skeptical because I was already in "good" shape. Well it didn't take long - maybe 3 days for me to really feel a difference. Any extra bloating (even slight) was gone. Bowel production was greatly improved and I just began to feel far better in the gut even with my history of IBS. Bottom line is that these are really worth the money. At least they are for me and I was able to contact the company to ask questions and received replies quickly. Excellent customer service. I also like the fact that they don't have to be refrigerated which means ease in traveling. I will definitely be sticking with these.

It's working fine. It says on the package to take on an empty stomach, but then I received a follow up message from the company saying to take it with food. So there's a little inconsistency there, but the product is fine and I'm beginning to feel better, thanks to my dietary changes and other supplements as well.

I have been purchasing these probiotics for about 6 months for a friend who was taking Prilosec daily. Seriously- Within a week of taking 1-2 of these per day he was able to stop taking the Prilosec altogether! Just to be clear, he has heartburn and a bit of GERD so no major esophageal or stomach conditions but he had not been able to go a day without Prilosec before these. Taking Prilosec or any of those types of medications continuously is NOT good and physicians will not always tell you that. Do your research on that topic and you'll see for yourself. Again...believe the hype and research yourself about GOOD QUALITY probiotics (not the crap at the local drugstore or Walmart). I did quite a bit of research of various brands for my friend before deciding on these and as I said ---THEY'RE WORKING PERFECTLY!

I searched for an effective probiotic, after many months of taking a large National Supplement Chain's labeled brand...I didn't feel as if I was reaping the benefits and results I had hoped for... it seemed I was still experiencing bloating, contstipation and irregularity...(I practice eating a very clean diet daily) I looked on Amazon and searched brands and checked reviews. Decided to try Intelligent Labs Probiotic..I was contacted by company after placing order..never has happened to me after placing an online order for anything!..after a couple of weeks taking this probiotic, I seem to have had positive results, although it has taken a bit of time for my body to adjust to the increase in CFUs..I also received a follow up email from this family owned business, making sure I received peoduct and double checking with me in the event I had questions or concerns....again has NEVER happened after an online purchase! I would recommend Intelligent Labs for all supplement needs..

Don’t go a day without it

This probiotic works great for me. I've been using it for two weeks now and my digestion is better and as 80% of our immune system is in the gut, I've noticed overall I feel better. I like that I don't need to keep this product in the fridge and it carries an excellent variety of probiotic strains. I've tried a variety of probiotics over the years and to date this one delivers, doesn't upset my GI tract, has the best strains of probiotics, is easy to store and is affordable....I highly recommend it.

I was lactose intolerant and suffered heartburn and was irregular for over 20 years. I started taking these probioitics and noticed a difference in my regularity, heartburn decreased and tolerance to milk products. Within 3 months I was eating cheese and other milk products with little reaction and within a year I was able to drink a glass of milk. I have tried many others but find these work the best. I will recommend them to anyone with food intolerance or stomach irregularities as they really do work. They replace the active probiotics we have lost over years and make you feel great!

Capsules are easy to swallow and I need to take only 1 tablet a day which is very convenient. It’s also gluten free. There are 60 capsules and so my husband is also taking with me so it will last a month for both of us. It’s great for my digestive health and that is why I reordered after my first bottle.

Inizio a provare con 2 pillole al giorno (sapendo già che avevo un intestino completamente disbiotico e mal funzionante) e, ahimè, inizia un brutta settimana a causa della morte dei batteri cattiva del mio intestino che si è manifestata con una forte diarrea (senza dolori ma con evacuazioni frequenti). Un po' spaventato scrivo all'assistenza clienti che mi rispondono in tempi standard (1 giorno lavorativo) spiegandomi che è un sintomo normalissimo nella prima settimana e che significa che i batteri nelle capsule stanno combattendo e uccidendo i batteri cattivi annidat i nel mio intestino. Dopo circa 5 giorni gli effetti collaterali diminuiscono gradualmente fino a scomparire del tutto ed io finalmente ritorno a sentirmi una persona sana (a causa del colon irritabile/ipersensibilità viscerale non riuscivo più a stare troppo tempo lontano dal bagno). Queste capsule mi hanno completamente rimesso a nuovo e regolarizzato l'intestino(dopo 2 tentativi con altri due probiotici di marca differente). Inoltre la presenza di prebiotici garantisce la moltiplicazione dei probiotici nell'intestino( che così sopravvivono per tutta la giornata e ristabiliscono la flora intestinale). Assolutamente consigliate per chi soffre di disordini alimentari, non influiscono sull'intolleranza al lattosio ma sono assumibili insieme a compresso di lattasi(nel mio caso specifico). Ho comprato questi probiotici per mio marito dopo averne provati parecchi. Dopo averne verificato la bontà, li ho fatti provare con successo a mia cognata che soffre da lunga data di diverticoli e problemi intestinali vari. Mio marito soffre di colite da quando era ragazzino e ha sempre avuto l'intestino in disordine nonostante non assumesse latticini (è intollerante al latte di tutti i tipi). Da quando ha cominciato ad assumere questi probiotici la sua salute è molto migliorata. Le prime volte di assunzione emetteva "aria" maleodorante, ma dopo questo primo periodo (durato all'incirca una settimana), ha continuato ad emettere flatulenze inodore per 3 - 4 giorni ancora. Dopo di ciò ha cominciato a stare molto bene. Comunque, eravamo stati avvisati tramite email dal venditore poco dopo il nostro acquisto, e così non ci siamo preoccupati di questi primi effetti. Però, quello che mi ha stupito maggiormente, è stato l'effetto che questi probiotici hanno avuto su mia cognata, sofferente di diverticoli. Anche lei, prima di arrivare a provare questi, ha provato varie marche (anche di farmacia) senza alcun successo. Ha un intestino così malandato che le causa dolori, anche muscolari, che arrivano anche posteriormente, alla schiena e allo stomaco. Ovviamente ha delle intolleranze alimentari ed è per questo che sta attenta al cibo; ma nonostante le sue accortezze, periodicamente i dolori raggiungevano l'apice costringendola a letto immobile. Per tenere sotto controllo la situazione ed evitare di arrivare al punto di non poter stare in piedi, il medico le aveva prescritto una cura di antibiotici da ripetere ogni mese, o comunque all'insorgere dei primi doloretti. Incrociamo le dita ma, dopo aver provato questi probiotici, sono quasi tre mesi che non sta prendendo più gli antibiotici e non ha avuto alcun dolore o problemi intestinali. Quindi, non posso far altro che consigliare questo prodotto.
