The chest strap on mine has pulled off and i can't get it back on. has anyone had success doing this? how do i contact the brand directly?

Also please see the video attached that outlines the process of reattaching the chest strap. Is there a way to store the bungee straps?

Great question. The product comes with a compact mesh drawstring baggy that can be clipped on to the back of the harness when in use :)

Has anyone used this for hiking with a toddler?

Yes! We’ve used if close to cliff or on an open chairlift. The handle is nice to hold on to, especially on an open chairlift.
