Mission Amsterdam: A Scavenger Hunt Adventure (Travel Book For Kids)

We bought the Florence version of this series this summer as a surprise for our daughter when visiting Italy. It was an unexpected success and worked really well; it made her visit to the Uffizi, otherwise torturous to young children, a much more exciting and memorable experience.We are frequently in Amsterdam so we expect the kids to have similar joy with this book. The puzzles and setting is generally entertaining and challenging while there is a material educational element as well.Highly recommended to families with young children aged 7 to 11. We will get the London-version as well.

I bought these books for my 3 children (8,10 & 12) for a long weekend trip to Amsterdam. They were brilliant! The children loved them and had great fun with them during the entire trip. We didn't visit all of the places in the book but the book was excellent for the places we did visit (such as Van Gogh museum) as it didnt have much children's material there and it was particularly excellent for the general section...getting the children to try some Dutch words and food. I would highly recommend.

good book to keep a child occupied

Awesome and educational, not so much that it switched off my 11 year old. Saw it as a fantastic challenge and helped me plan our short visit. Highly recommended, can’t wsit to do the Rome version later this year!

I am in Amsterdam for a few days with my two daughters, 7 and 9. This book has made us all enjoy museums, really look at art, race round the city, hunt for statues and walk for miles without complaint! Am definitely going to buy the other guides in this series!
