Very effective
I went for a trek in the Malaysian jungle and I used the product both on my skin and on clothes: very effective and no mosquitos or other insects punctures, nor any oily or sticky sensation during the trek.

No-See-Ums are No Joke - must pack for Caribbean
I bought this Sawyer Picaridin Insect Repellent specifically for a trip to the Caribbean after reading about the infamous no-see-ums. Until you actually experience them… WOW. They are no joke! I won’t claim this spray prevented every single bite, because it didn’t, but it drastically reduced the number of bites we got, by like 90% . We found that spraying at dusk and dawn was especially important. The two-pack was perfect for our trip because our adult sons were staying in their own villa, so I sent one bottle with them and kept one at our place. We used this every morning and every night - a couple squirts on arms and legs does the trick - and it lasted the week we were there. The bottles are TSA permitted, so traveling with them was easy. Another huge plus is that the spray is odorless, absorbs quickly into the skin, isn't greasy or sticky, and didn’t stain our clothing. If you’re traveling somewhere known for no-see-ums or mosquitoes, I would absolutely add this to your packing list!

Works great on insects
I love this product for insect protection. I tried the spray this time but found it leaked a bit when using. I prefer the cream lotion

Inefficient Pump Mechanism
The ingredients do the job, but the pump delivery is inefficient. It produces too wide a spray area with too much overspray, thus wasting a lot of product.

My opinion so far
I haven't tried the product yet, but, why apply the glue to the bottle/pump? I had to use mineral spirits to remove the glue. I did like that the bottle did not leak, had a safety cap, plus a screw on cap. I will update after use. Thank you!

Reapplication Times
I just finished a 5 day trek in the Amazon and escaped with only three bug bites. I am normally a bug magnet. They were on my hands because I forgot to reapply after washing them. That being said, it does NOT last 12 hours if you are in a high humidity environment or sweating a lot. Reapply every 6 and you should be good to go. In addition, it did melt the reflective coating on my boyfriends cheap sunglasses, but all my other plastic gear was okay!
