Review: Must have for tournament days - ​This barrier foam is a lifesaver for wrestling tournaments. It's so easy to apply before hitting the mats, and a little bit goes a long way so the cans actually last quite a while. Gives great peace of mind during those long all-day weekend events. Definitely recommend keeping a can in the gym bag.
Review: Amazing product. - Working in the medical field, you often find yourself in positions that would be too close for comfort if it were any other setting. I have sensitive skin and sometimes my skin would get irritated just from brushing against someone’s clothes(certain laundry detergents and perfumes/colognes will give me contact dermatitis). Working in the ED, most people get cold but for whatever reason I just naturally have a higher body temperature so I can’t wear anything with long sleeves without feeling like I’m roasting. I’m a huge fan of Defense products and have been using them for over a decade. After several years and trying countless other “solutions” to my problem, I came across this product and I’m so glad I did. I keep several bottles in my locker at work and put it on before I clock in. I don’t like using anything that feels like it leaves a film(especially anything that leaves a greasy feeling) on my skin. After this product drys I don’t even notice it’s there. However, if it gets wet wherever I’ve applied it, I can feel it. If you know what it feels like when you have aloe(dried) on your skin and get it wet again, it’s similar to that. Since I’m always washing my hands and using gloves, I just wash my hands after I’ve applied the Defense foam and it’s never been an issue. It doesn’t leave behind any fragrance and doesn’t irritate my skin. I wish I would’ve found this a long time ago. It’s almost like “PPE in a bottle”…. I would think this goes without saying but obviously there is no substitution for proper PPE. I think of this as an added layer of protection.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: When does this expire?**
A: I don’t see any expiration date on any of my cans. I just recently got a bottle of my work locker that had been sitting in there for almost 3 years and it works just as good as the day I bought it.

**Q: how long does an application last?  do i need to re apply during a 3 hour session?**
A: It’s a clear barrier, we apply at the beginning of a tournament and if needed after 5 hours or 3+ matches we reapply.  It’s up to your discretion.

**Q: Can it be used on the scalp?  My sister has dementia and has itchy scalp from shampoo caps. She doesn't tolerate having head washed.**
A: I have pretty sensitive skin and I have used it on just about every surface of my body and have never had any issues. Just keep in mind this isn’t so much of a soap product, in the sense that you’re not using water & product, wash, and rinse. It works the best if you apply it to clean/dry skin. After I get out of the shower I’ll even use it in my arm pits, especially on times/days I can get away without using deodorant. I’m not a fan of deodorant at all, but unfortunately I sweat a lot and with that comes bacteria/odor, so I have to wear it. But on days where I’m not running around a bunch, I’ll use this instead of the classic deodorants/antiperspirants. I’ve even use it on my dogs for their “hotspots” and it works great. I really can’t recommend this product enough, it’s definitely a staple in my household. Hope this helps you/your sister! **Q: does it expire?**
A: It doesn’t show any expiration date on any of the cans I have. I stock piled 6 cans several years ago and they all are just as fresh as the day I bought them. Hope this helps!

Pricey, but worth it. The bottles are huge and will last forever. My son brought this to a week long wrestling camp. Lots of boys came home with rashes but he didn’t - was it the foam? I dunno - but maybe it was. He has super sensitive skin but he had no bad reaction to this.
