Bung Box Blue Black is also known as "4B" for short. This color was created with the intention to be between deep indigo, which a Japanese traditional color, and Agate, which is a French traditional color. This ink flows smoothly when it comes out from fountain pens and writes easily. The actual colors may be slightly different from the color on your monitor's display.

This ink has a lovely blue to red sheen. Goes down very smooth on Tomoe River paper. Very similar to Akkerman's "Shocking Blue". A well regarded ink, and rightly so. Recommended.
