Works as intended
The rail functions as intended. this item to replace the rail that originally came with my small rig tripod, I had misplaced. The packaging was intact and the delivery was exceptionally fast, as is customary. I actually bought two to keep one as backup in the zipper compartment of my bag to avoid encountering the same issue in the future. The metal used to manufacture both the rail and the screws is well constructed, feels good in the hand, and operates as intended. I highly recommend this rail to anyone using a tripod or gimbal that requires this attachment.

Excellent Manfrotto replacement plate!
This is an excellent replacement for the standard Manfrotto tripod plate. It fits well and holds tight. It is also a much better price than the original.

Smaller and more adjustable plate for your ronin
This plate was perfect for repositioning the attachment point and balance for my ronin rs2 pro. I recently made a phone rig for when I don’t need a professional camera and I wanted to attach it to my ronin because the standard phone gimbals are very limited. Without this plate, the wide angle lens would catch a bit of the original plate. This fixed that no problem. Perfect fit. The included picture is of the problem I had with the original plate so you can see why I purchased it.

Doesn’t fit Crane 3 S
Bought this hoping it would fit my Crane 3S after having lost the plate and not finding it anywhere. It however does not fit :/ Sturdy plate and screws from what I’m seeing

better than the stock plate
The SmallRig 5" quick release plate allows a much wider range of adjustment than the stock plate that comes with the DJI RS 4. I wanted to mount a Sony FDR-AX53 videocamera, which has a mounting point near the front end and a large battery in the back. When mounting a camera on the RS 4, it is essential to balance it with respect to the axes of the gimbal. With the stock plate, it isn't possible to balance the FDR-AX53 on the RS 4, but the SmallRig plate allows plenty of room for adjustment for balancing that camera.

SmallRig Support for the Elgato Prompter
I built an "All-In-One YouTube Studio" on a light stand. Part of that setup includes an Elgato Prompter (lens mounted). I decided to support the camera and lens with a SmallRig support system.
