Played with the colors and features, adjusted the focus to go from sharp to soft. After no more than five minutes, it quit working. No response from the remote, unplugged the light and waited a few minutes, then plugged it back in. Same issue. The light does nothing but flash green once every 5 seconds or so.

A: It will work but may not last long because it's not rated as being weather proof and may collect moisture/morning dew since it is outdoors which will eventually affect it. Search for something that has an IPX rating being waterproof etc. I personally like solar products if you have direct sun to fountain. Very well made. I use it just what it said it was for, a mirror ball. The effect is just what I wanted.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent choice for shorter distnances

The LED light is not bright enough for long range use. If you are more than about ten feet (about 3m) away it will not be bright enough when pointed at the mirror ball to make a great effect. Closer it works very well. We used them from longer range and added our follow spot to give us multiple colors and a variety of bright and not so bright reflections. Worked well. The housing is a strong plastic (ABS is my guess) and survived months of high school kids setting up the lights, dropping them, banging them around in the storage. no regrets in buying them, just wished for an even brighter LED or a longer-range focusing ring to help.
