Andis EasyClip Pro-Animal 7-Piece Detachable Blade Clipper K

scam

Whilst the clippers are as described we were unaware that the plug was actually American and not UK and therefore have had to purchase an adaptor plug, so purchasers should be aware of this. The product itself is goo.

SOY VETERINARIA, Y HE USADO UNAS MAQUINAS MAS PESADAS DE ANDIS, ESTA NO ES USO VETERINARIO ES MAS PARA MASCOTAS EN CASA PERO ME ENCANTA, PARA EL PRECIO TIENE MUY BUEN MANEJO, Y NO SE SOBRECALIENTA TANTO COMO OTRAS, ES BASTANTE LIGERA Y EL CORTE LO TERMINAS RAPIDO, ESTE LO USO EN CASA PARA MIS MASCOTAS, PERO ME HA SACADO DE APUROS EN EL TRABAJO. MUY BUEN PRODUCTO Y ME ENCANTA QUE ES DE FACIL TRANSPORTE CON SU ESTUCHE, MUY PROFESIONAL

I did alot of research before purchasing clippers. Andis is touted as a reliable company to provide great grooming products and this product does not disappoint! The unit runs quietly, as far as clippers go. It's not silent, but my "skittish" cockapoo sat quietly while I clipped him. I was pleasantly surprised. I used the 10 blade that came with the unit, and tried out the comb attachments to see the results of different lengths. They all worked great. Blade did get warm, but never to the point that it was burning hot. I followed instruction and kept the blade clean and oiled ( Andis Cool Care Plus 15oz is great!) and was able to complete the clip in a good timeframe. My dog was a bit "overgrown" but this unit clipped cleanly through without any issues. I felt this unit was a good "middle ground" unit..not too inexpensive as to be ineffectual and not too expensive. I think that for a home grooming tool, this one fits the bill. You get good results at a reasonable price.

UPDATE 8/9: After using this clipper for a while now, I'm very happy with it (despite the price dropping). It took a few times but now I can do both dogs very quickly in one sitting. I don't have a professional grooming table so I do this in the laundry room with the dog on top of the washer. I would highly recommend using a disposable wee pad under them instead of a towel... the cut hairs are very tough to wash out (they seem to just weave themselves into cloth!) ORIGINAL REVIEW: These were the questions I had before buying this clipper: *Does it really work that much better than human clippers? YES *Is it quiet enough that it won't freak out my dogs? YES *Will I be able to handle it well even though I have no professional grooming experience? YES *Is it worth the price tag? YES With two small dogs, I found that it managed to cut through their differing types of fur perfectly. My Papillon mix has a double coat and it sliced through without any problems! And the number #1 guard was the perfect length to use on my Maltese for that "puppy" cut. I have no prior grooming experience so I just watched a bunch of online videos. This clipper seemed to work easily and fit into my hand just fine. It has a ceramic blade and it didn't feel like it got hot for a while (I managed to groom both dogs in one sitting). But since I was using a guard, it wasn't much of an issue. This also has a quiet motor so it didn't freak the dogs out. And unlike the inexpensive human clippers, it doesn't make an abrupt noise when you first turn it on. I received the item exactly as pictured: a purple cutter with 4 guards, small tube of oil and a black case everything fits into. For my two small dogs, I don't feel like I need to buy other blades as the one that comes with it, along with the guards, seem to fit all of my needs right now. Again, I say this with inexperience...just relying on my satisfaction with the end result. Overall, I would definitely recommend this clipper!
