Good for compact film setup
I'm getting into cinematography, and this solved a big problem for me and allows me to use my professional mics that were previously only used for live audio with my cameras. It supports 48v phantom power, so you can use standard XLR mics without necessarily needing a preamp or separate recorder if you want a more compact kit.
