These were a great value and my son greatly appreciated that there were no pastels except for the peach. As with all the other Perler beads we've used, these were great quality, vibrant in color and melted evenly. The tray is nice for staying organized and comes with a couple of parchment sheets. It also comes with a small pattern book for the designs pictured on the box, but we skipped that and just used a Spiderman pattern found online. We went through a lot of red to make a full-length Spidey but still have lots of beads leftover to make several more superheroes, any of which characters he chooses.

This kit was purchased as a gift and it was very well received.there are alot of small pieces soI would recommend not opening it on any deep pile carpet!
