Amazing ginger paste
This is my first time using this product.I am very happy with my purchase. In the fall and winter, I use ginger nearly daily, if not multiple times a day at intervals. The texture does have bits that float in your beverage. so if you’re looking for a very smooth or vanishing paste, this does have fibrous bits but not huge ones they’re tiny. It’s worth a try if you’re text, not a person that likes that I filtered straw will probably keep them out as mine does. The flavor is delicious.I love the fresh notes. It’s tangy and warming.I’ve enjoyed it so much I even will take a little spoonful with some honey. It’s so delicious with honey.!I’ve really enjoyed adding this to my chai.It is delicious curry and I’ve enjoyed putting it in my pumpkin pie!Has also been tasty in baking.I mostly use this in my tea or coffee, or just buy itself with some warm water and oat or almond milkIt is delicious in a steamer. And I’ve even tried it with the gingerbread or caramel creamers, very nice enhancement for a PSL or pumpkin spice chai.Very happy with this product and the quality. The shipping was wonderful no damage and on time..I will definitely be ordering again

Flawlessly packed glass jar
If you're worried about how an Amazon packer might send your fragile glass jar, not to worry... Rani has your back. Inside the Amazon shipping box (with one flat and one 10% filled air bag that would have provided no protection), I found a thick cardboard Rani Brand box. At first, I thought the box looked too large for what I had ordered, an 8 oz jar of garlic paste, but inside I found the jar was impeccably wrapped multiple times in bubble wrap and lots of tape. The wrapping was so tight and thick that it took some effort to cut it away with scissors... but the jar was well-protected and arrived safely. By the way, I've ordered other Rani products, and as I remember, the glass jars are always very well packaged to prevent breakage during shipping. I've purchased this garlic paste before, well over a year ago. I think it was a larger jar that I bought before, but as much as I love to use garlic in my cooking, it lasted a long time. A little goes a long way, and it stays fresh and very tasty. It's the best ground garlic on the market, IMO.This jar had a generous two years on the expiration date, but I'll probably use it before then, and when I need more, it will be Rani Brand. I've tried many of their different products, including candies, several varieties of chutney, dry spices, cooking pastes, and of course, this delicious garlic paste, and I've never had a complaint. Every product I've tried has been excellent, i.e. very fresh, and delicious tasting. And did I mention, they arrive very well-packed?

The best Ginger Garlic Paste
I love chicken curries of all types along with white rice—Japanese, Chinese, Mongolian, Lebanese, Indian; you name it! The only one I’ve learned to make at home is the Indian curry from one of Rani's short videos on Amazon, found on their Rani Curry Powder Mild product page. Here’s how I make it:- Heat 3 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat.- Add 1 large chopped white onion and sauté for 5 minutes.- Stir in 2 teaspoons of Rani Ginger-Garlic Paste and sauté for another minute.- Add 13.5 fl oz of tomato puree and salt to taste.- Mix in 1 to 1.5 tablespoon of Rani Curry Powder Mild.- Cook for 7-8 minutes, until the oil separates.- Add chopped carrots, green beans, and any other desired vegetables.- Gently mix and cook for an additional 2 minutes.- Add coconut milk and chicken pieces as desired.- Cook for 10-12 minutes, stirring slowly once or twice.Note: I’ve left out the Rani Garam Masala because I find it too strong for my taste. For a vegetarian version, simply omit the chicken. To save time, I always buy cut up mixed vegetables in a bag. If I’m in a hurry, I also get the chopped onions in a bag.

Panty staple
Great to have ginger on hand all the time when I do not have the fresh. Was surprised at how big a jar it is, won’t run out for quite a while.

Not a fan of the Ginger Paste
Was hopeful based on others review. But I find it to have an odd taste and odor. The vacuum lid was still sealed. So not sure.
