Just so I could tell the that I bought a refrigerator and see them ask why, ### ⭐⭐ Barely Cools a Can But Takes Hours & Does NOT Hold Two *by K***D on April 2, 2017* Even in a climate-controlled office this device doesn't have the power via USB to really chill a can; even overnight. At best it can take the edge off a room-temp can/bottle and maybe delay temperature rises if you drink slowly. Also, it does NOT hold two vertical 12-ounce cans and still have that 1/4" or so headroom, as pictured. That's total Photoshop there, not a manufacturing variation. You CAN get two cans squeezed into it if you stack them and then push hard to get them in there. Save your money on this and get a six-pack cooler that runs on higher voltage, even though they're $30 or so. ### ⭐ Poor design - fundamental flaw. *by F***A on November 23, 2017* The media could not be loaded. Let's start with what other user have noted: This product doesn't can't hold two cans of American soda as the image implies, and it doesn't really cool them either.I thought that perhaps this was because the TEC wasn't drawing enough power to adequately cool the soda, so I cut the USB end off and hooked up the wires to a variable power supply. I then increased the voltage, allowing as much current to flow as necessary. At 12V and ~2.5A, the behavior of the device, and why it doesn't work finally becomes clear: The TEC is doing its job and removing heat from the can, but it is dumping it all along the back of the device. A fair amount of this heat flows back into the device through the top (non-metallic) area on the inside of the 'fridge'. As TECs are not very efficient, the amount of heat dumped out this way cancels the cooling effect. In other words, this device does not effectively remove heat from the inside, it just circulates it, and uses a lot of power doing so. To function effectively, a re-design is necessary.Video is of device running at spec voltage(5V). A single can was placed inside, and the device was allowed to run uninterrupted for 10 minutes with door closed. Door was then opened and measurements taken. Room temperature is 77F. Can temperature was measured to be 75F. As shown in the video, the area above the can is warmer than room temperature (82F).
