Would this be good for a tree planted about 2 weeks ago?

Absolutely.  I use the Root stimulator every time I plant a tree or shrub.  It has a mild fertilizer, vitamin B1, and a rooting hormone in it to encourage quick root development after planting and to help with transplant shock.  It's a great product.  Water your newly planted tree or shrub with Root Stimulator every time it needs watering for the first 2-3 waterings after transplant.  You can still use it now and have very good results.  Thanks!

I'm new to planting trees and bought a crabapple tree. Is this product good for it and is it all I would need?

The Root Stimulator is an excellent product for new trees.  The stimulator should do the trick to plant it but you'll need to spray it in the spring every year for any diseases and bugs that might want to munch on your tree, keep that in mind.

Would it be appropriate to apply this to freshly planted holly & fraser fir trees in december in western nc with freezing temperatures?

I bought it to stimulate slips of geraniums in California.  It worked fabulous!  But no idea regarding your question.  Good luck.  Maybe the manufacturer can answer your question.

Can this be used on tree clipping??

I'm not sure...We used it when we had a huge palm tree planted in our backyard.  The palm went into SHOCK and it looked dead for about 2 months.  We were told by the nursery to just hang in there...we did, and it is coming back.  That is my only experience with it -- but I have to say it appears to be some pretty great stuff!
