Absolutely love these! I will be ordering more in the future. I personally would like to see this item come with a clay, handmade pottery holder and provide a wick as well. Other then that, beautifully done!

I love this little guy. My only complaint would be its design which causes seepage, not leakage. It does NOT leak (some have claimed it leaks in their reviews). The placement of the wick, tends to draw the oil out and over the side and at times that seepage can cover 2/3rds of the lamp. You need a place to rest it on to catch seepage. The longer you keep it burning the greater the chance of seepage. If you burn it for only a few hours, you probably won't see any. Still a good idea to have it on a plate just in case. Still, I give it 5 stars because of its classic design and classic look. It is really small too, but does what it was designed to do. Love it.

It works perfectly and it’s so adorable. It’s a good size considering we don’t actually need it for light. I used 100% avocado oil for this but also ordered special lamp oil to try. No issues with the oil, no smoke or nasty smell. There was a very light scent but mostly when first lighting it up. It burns for a nice amount of time and is super easy to set up and use. I’m happy with my order and will likely get a few more in the future for myself and as gifts for family :)

This is definitely hand made. A little smaller than I'd like and the wick that came with it was useless. And it's unglazed so oil will leak through. But, after I sealed it with beeswax and inserted a proper thick round cotton wick it now works outstanding! Burns clean, no smoke, the wick burns extremely slowly, and puts out as much visible light as a candle but will burn much longer than a candle and doesn't drip oil. I have it sitting on a glass candle pad and it's not leaked a drop of oil in days.

A great gift for someone, even yourself, like I did. I like the fact that it was hand made in the “Holy Land” what a true treasure to gift to someone who enjoys the Scriptures and wants a religious relic of that time period.

Love it! Has the authentic feel. Would be 5 except it’s really tiny! The did give the size in the description so I can’t fault them for non disclosure. Otherwise, it’s a beautiful herodian oil lamp

Würde diesen Artikel nicht noch einmal kaufen, da das eingefüllte Öl durch diffundiert und sich in der notwendigen Untertasse sammelt. Vielleicht ist das normal aber wenn i ch es gewußt hätte, hätte ich dieses Teil nicht gekauft

The handle was broken and in pieces. The picture is also misleading on the size.

Just a friendly heads-up, you'll need a plate under this lamp as it's porous and seeps a little oil at the beginning. I don't know if same happens over time. I used it numerous times as well as other olive oil lamps. They all seep oil. Just be informed. It is normal.

I recieve it in normal box if this product is from holy land the presentation should be better
