Good potting compound
This potting compound worked very well for encapsulating my electronics so that it can work submerged. I suggest mixing the components by weight instead of my volume. The ratio by weight is 2.3:1.You may also want to try the clear version of this (832C), which has very similar characteristics.

a bit expensive
a little too expensive for the amount provided, but it's not something i typically buy in bulk. have used this product in the past. like the flowability and end result. forgotten about the unique odor that hangs around a day or so. it's not offensive, just odd, esp in an office building.

Good epoxy coating
The epoxy resin is pretty good. One thing that is a little bit wired is that the lower layer in the bottle seems to be more dense that the upper layer. But there is no way to mix it up and down. No matter what, the epoxy works well as a strong coating for preventing water penetration and dust from your electronic board.

I don't recommend this product for people new to potting their electronics
A little bit runny, and takes quite a while to harden. I don't recommend this product for people new to potting their electronics. If you are an old pro, well, maybe you could share some tricks in your review. Otherwise, you'll probably find a leaky spot somewhere, and this stuff wI'll leak out all over through it.

It works great as potting compound
It works great as potting compound, but just be aware that you won't get what's in the picture. I thought I would be getting 3 1L bottles from the picture, but ended up with 3 850mL paint cans of resin and hardener. I did select the 0.69 Gallon option, which is what 3-850mL cans works out to, but I never did the math when I first bought it and just assumed I'd get what was in the picture.

Good for most electronic applications but not RF.
I've used this in that past with good success. Not so much the last time but that was an application issue. I potted some RF components and lost about 1/2 my range. Again, probably my improper use of this type of epoxy but just letting others know. Also, it is very runny and will leak out of the tiniest hole for hours. Next time I'll be sure my hot glue seals better around the wires before pouring in the epoxy.
