My 10 year old loves this

Our Pokemon crazy nine year old loved this. The flip it around for each story gimmick is fun and he liked that quirk. Each tale is accompanied by many black and white stills from the cartoon. He was able to read it independently so took it to school as his free time reader. The made up Pokemon characters seem good for applying phonics and spelling rules to reading them. He really enjoyed it and kept on about the regions it is set in. Jolly good.

This pokemon is great fun and full of amazing Pokemon battles. My 8 year old daughter loves it. She says the pictures are really cool and jazzy. There are two stories both with front covers as once you have read one story you have to flip the book for the other story. Considering it's pokemon this is pretty well written and not at all cringy like I thought it would be. Highly recommended for all Pokemon fans.
